TBH though, Vince's dunk contest is a little glorified now...in terms of technical difficulty and creativity, his dunk contest has been left in the dust at this point.

I miss the days where if you missed your dunk, that was it. You got a score for effort. I think, at a minimum, you should get a pt deducted for each miss....miss 3 times and have a 10 dunk, get 7.

Honestly, the people who whine that there's no stars in the dunk contest wouldn't be happy if there were. If a star enters it and loses to some no-name, they'll get clowned on. If they win it, then everyone screams that it was "rigged." Maybe it's time to accept that there's no saving the dunk contest and come up with something else to close Saturday with. 1-on-1? 3-on-3?
