Yeah, the mob must have threatened to murder Adam Silver if the league stops putting their guys in literally every single big, huge, pivotal game. That's the most likely explanation. All this horrible refereeing couldn't possibly have anything to do with the fact that the league generates 100+ million dollars for each late-series Finals game. That's just way too complicated.
