Isn't that simply because you have an excellent starting 5 and a terrible bench? That list is all Boston and Denver players. If anything, Edwards is the standout.

I haven't followed the C's closely this season thus far (i'll admit) but in tonight's game for example, in a 21 pts win, Tatum had +42 (!) while the starter with the most after him was Jrue with +22

how does the C's rotation looked like, can one of the C's fans illuminate us on the rotations thus far?

That man is a heart attack waiting to happen. And just 39. Always shocks me to see how much weight he has gained since retiring.

Death, taxes, and Luka destroying the Clippers like no other... I think Luka has more statement games vs Clippers than vs the next 10 teams combined or smth.

Lol he is 33-9-9 with a 52% FG and 41% at 3pts leading his team to a 7-2 record and you think that's only because he played the clippers once?

Nope.
Can say the same thing about Jokic stans.

Check the poll.

Do you really believe 120+ people here are actually all "Jokic Stans"? Or maybe, do you think he's a more valuable player than Embiid and you might be incredibly biased towards/for him?

There's a (recorded) 123 people saying it, but it's the 123 who are wrong. That guy has no shame.

No, you're reading too much into it. I was just gushing over Luka's performance and pointing out the inevitability of him taking a crap on the Clippers every time he plays them, didn't try to imply anything else.

Embiid won the MVP because Jokic took a month off. It only makes sense that the vote changed the last week, right when Jokic lost the advantage he had on him.

What really hurt Jokic last year was to take one month off. He would've won otherwise (unless the Perkins race card really had an effect, which is very difficult to know).

He didn't take a "month off", he missed 13 games- three with COVID, three with a sprained wrist, and five due to a badly strained calf. He took 2 games off without injury listed, all season (out of 102 team games).

He STILL played 3 more games than Embiid during the regular season and buried him in every traditional and advanced metric out there, except raw PPG.

He got robbed of MVP.

PS: Speaking of taking time off: Since 2016-2017, Embiid has missed 169 games (most of any full time player). Jokic has missed 39.

In the next few weeks without Murray, if Jokic can keep the Nuggets in the 1st place or even put some separation , it’s gonna keep hard to make a case for another player.

Jokic has gotten to a point where as long as he's healthy over the next 2-3 years, there will realistically never be any argument for any other player in the league being more impactful.

By a month off I was referring to the playing level. The Nuggets coasted for the last month of the regular season, Jokic included.

In what universe is this "coasting"? Not to mention, he was playing hurt, also. Wrist and calf injuries.

Don't you wish Embiid could "coast" and average 26/12/9 on .642 FG%?

In Jokic universe (as unfair as it might look). It's not only a matter of numbers, I watched all those games. He's my favourite player by far.

I watched them all, too. What was he not doing that isn't captured by the numbers?

The main thing, his defense was awful for that stretch. Like he didn't care at all.

Maxey has entered the chat
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy

Maxey is definitely an mvp caliber player at this point.
