Predicting who wins a ping pong ball lottery is not the easiest thing. He will be going first unless something unfortunately happens injury wise this season.

If I had to guess a team…. Let me say Detroit because that would be a lot of fun.

Portland needs him badly, might give the org the extra value for Jodie to finally sell. New owners seem to luck out in the lottery i feel like... Or after stars demand trades. We blew it on Jordan and KD, we deserve it. Would be a perfect fit next to Clingan,Scoot,Sharpe and Camara.

Oh come on. This is so early they probably haven't even decided how to rig the lottery yet

I hope so. I’m out here representing the mean streets of SLC. I want to see him live for $20.

it's really interesting that no one nowhere nohow, not media and certainly no one here, ever even acknowledges the existence of ayton

however it needs to be mentioned that not speaking his name will not make him disappear :D
yes, if por gets flagg, get rid of ayton IMMEDIATELY before ayton gets his coodies on flagg

I would be shocked if he doesn’t end up in Utah.

Utah or Portland makes the most sense, but I would really like to see him in Washington because the young core in DC is very much legit and getting the minutes to become the future. Washington would basically run Bub Carrington and Sarr as true 1 and 5 and then could really have fun with 3 extremely versatile wings in Flagg, George, and Coulibaly. With the right coach you're looking at a team that has potential to be a top 3 defense with a top 10 offense.

Besides taking Bowie #2 over Jordan #3, Portland took bust Greg Oden #1 over Durant, and took bust LaRue Martin #1 over McAdoo and Dr. J. Sorry, Portland doesn't deserve more chances to pick number one. :D

Given that Philly's pick is 1-6 protected and they've so far proven to be worthless, I'd put them in the mix too.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
The Flagg/AK47 comp makes sense just from a defensive standpoint.

If I asked people, who does this remind you of? Long athletic 6'9 wing who can shut people down on the ball out on the perimeter and also be a high level rim protector.

Not even mentioning the player being white, a lot of people would say AK47. Because that is what made AK47 such a unique defender.

Well that is also kind of Flagg's calling card as well. The big difference between Flagg and AK47 is Flagg's advanced offensive game on the ball. But defensively, white or not, its a pretty solid comp.

He's closer to Matt Harpring than to Durant or KG. Book it.
G - James | Rondo
G - Bradley | Caruso
F - Green | Caldwell-Pope
F - Davis | Kuzma | Morris
C - McGee | Howard

Matt Harpring wasn't 1/00th the defensive player this kid already is.

Ya one thing to remember about the UK game. Flagg is 17 and UK has 6 guys in their main rotation who are 5th year seniors and are at least 22 years old.

So ya he had the miscues at the end, but he still put up 26/12 with 2 assists and 2 blocks against a bunch of high level D1 players who are 5-6 years older than him.

That is pretty damn impressive.

The Duke schedule is pretty brutal for the 1st month. UK, at Zona, Kansas, and Auburn. Scheyer made sure to up the out of conference schedule compared to what K used to do haha. Zona should be a fun matchup though, especially for Flagg. Multiple 6'8 guys and they play multiple 7 footers.

Right now as a Duke fan, not looking forward to that game haha.

He's forcing his offense resulting in shots that are more difficult than they should be.
