21-9 for Barnes (9/14). Pretty disappointing that the team stopped going to him after his was hot in the first half

Suggs had a great game too with 21 and 4 assists (6/14 FG)

Evan Mobley can start his DPOY campaign tonight by stuffing LeBron and co.

High visibility game will start the media narrative. Narrative is 50% of any award, MVP, DPOY, or otherwise.

Suggs and Barnes had pretty good games tonight. Suggs could have had the game winner if their coach didn't call timeout imo lol

That's exactly why he called a timeout.

Suggs had momentum heading to the basket. Could have been an easy layup for the win.

Great game from the rookies in the Magic/Raptors game.

Wagner looks like he can contribute to a contender as a starter in 2-3 years, just does the little things at a high level.

Suggs is a defensive stud, just needs to tighten up the handles and he'll have a 10+ year career in the league.

Banton is a defensive nightmare for other teams, I see so much Shaun Livingston in him.

Barnes was Kawhi like in the first half, just needs to learn to be more selfish.

Wagner 33:41 Mins 10 PTS 4 REB 2 AST 1 STL 0 BLK 33.3 FG% 50.0 3PT%

Suggs 29:48 Mins 21 PTS 2 REB 4 AST 0 STL 1 BLK 42.9 FG% 50 3PT% 100 FT%

Banton 22:48 Mins 10 PTS 5 REB 2 AST 2 STL 0 BLK 67 FG% 50 FT%

Barnes 36:46 Mins 21 PPG 9 REB 1 AST 2 STL 1 BLK 64 FG% 50 3PT% 100 FT%

Your unbiased opinion as a Raptors fan is Suggs seems like a chucker?

Yeah, that's not how this works. As a fan, it's not your responsibility to try and denigrate another pick, to somehow make Barnes seem better. Just let them do that themselves. Barnes looks spectacular, and so far is my favorite rookie in this class. Suggs still looked good, and is under control.

Now Anthony? He seems like a chucker.

5 games coming into today...talking over over 12 shots a game as a rookie,,,his numbers are
18-63 field goals coming into the game
6-28 3point field goals coming into this game

He also had a bad shooting night today!....me saying, he "seems" like a chucker (ok maybe inefficient is a better term) isnt the craziest thing in the world!..........thats high volume attempts and very low FG percentage. Its just numbers

I did say he has potential

Not sure I see your point, especially when you post a link and give no context to what your point is

They’re both completely different players and the numbers suggest the same too. As a Michigan fan, I’m glad Franz is doing well, but its really a non comparison considering the roles they play and the style of their games
You make an argument that Franz has been better than Scottie so far.

So um about that. You still think so? Didn’t see anything that would indicate there’s any argument that Franz is better than Scottie

all draft folks said barnes can't shoot.

it's either all of them take one stance and trumpet it or barnes and the raptors development system are just awesome.

Suggs needs a real veteran PG to play with so he can learn the ropes and bring some more intangibles to the table. Its obviously very early in his career but I dont see that muliti-sport high IQ athletic QB he was being prjected as. He has a lot of talent but I cant help but think he will have a very similar career trajectory as Aaron Gordon.

here's the issue - cole is a developing young high usage player. fultz got the contract and you know he's going to have high usage...so where does suggs fit? he will have to be a team first guy.

barnes is in a similar predicament when pascal comes back but the crazy thing is that barnes is putting up his #'s now in the flow of the game. we don't run plays for him really - so he will still be able to contribute and he's better prepared to become more of a passer than suggs right now.

I actually think Kuminga is going to be really good too once he gets healthy. Hopefully the Warriors let him have another season in the G League instead of rotting on the bench.

Even Wagner has had his moments and Mitchell looks like a stud. That's your top 9 who all have the potential to be good. You have to go to the 10th pick to Zaire Williams to get to your first non great rookie and the jury is still out on him.
