He isn't a good defender by any means but the guy is so slow laterally rn. That is why I can't understand why posters are saying it is a 'fake injury' just look at how poorly he moves.

I must've missed that because I don't remember that. Mavs have been sending help every time he's driving to the paint. Yes Tatum's also pressing a bit and he's missed some layups. As long as he doesn't get frustrated and his head is in the game, the points will come. I'd be concerned if he makes bad plays or hangs his head on defense.
