i dont get why people dont think Green is a top 10 defender in NBA history. How many guys in the league history can do that? Bill and KG for sure. Rest all debatable.

Green isn't the most likable guy around.

But he very easily is a top 10 defender all time. The ability to switch 1 through 5. Still playing elite D into his mid 30s. And should have been the DPOY this year but politics.

Blown opportunity for Houston last night. What was up with Sengun, it looked like he had the yips when trying to shoot most of the time.

Sengun has good footwork on offense around the rim and is a good passing big but he is awful is space defensively and looks clumsy on that end.

Incredible is right. Draymond's defensive (and offensive) IQ is other worldly. Weird tangent but in tennis there is a huge thing call anticipation....it essentially means you know what the players next shot will be BEFORE they make it. Draymond sees the next move before it's made.

I happen to think he his pound for pound the greatest defender in history. He guards every position and all of them, except center, he'll have the defensive advantage. Kind of sucks that 7 footers get the DPOY all the time when they can't guard three of the positions.

Was going to say the same thing, best defensive player I've ever seen. I remember seeing him lock up Chris Paul in playoffs during his second season and telling my friend he was the best defensive player in the league. I've never seen a guy his size dissuade players from driving to the rim without even having big shot blocking numbers. True sixth sense out there, it's been awesome watching him getting to team up with a similar minded dude like Jimmy.

Players are afraid to drive the lane most players don’t like to get kicked in the nuts. Green and brooks are the dirtiest players in the league both need to be held accountable for their dirty crap.

Even when the Warriors were unexpectedly down two of their best four players in game two in Houston they were right in it. They have Houston's number and I don't see the Rockets solving this matchup this season. Back to the drawing board.

Yes he deliberately kicked Steve Adams of all people in the nuts in 2016. Draymond might be crazy but he isn’t stupid, and Steve Adams seemed to consider it accidental. It was also 9 years ago.

He frequently carries on like a petulant child, but if he is the dirtiest player in the NBA it seems odd that he has never significantly injured anyone over what is now quite a long career.

Rockets have been inconsistent all season. I've said it in a few other messaging boards how they are a true Jekyll and Hyde type of team. I expect the Warriors to go up 3-1 tomorrow and then the Rockets to win game 5 before the Warriors close it out in 6.

This was valuable experience for some of our young guys but we will surely need to break some of this team up. Their ceiling with this core is a 1st round exit because I don't see how they'll have a consistent closer and you need one in the playoffs to win a series. Lots of potential players available this summer via trade, we have some assets it's time to go all in.

Unfortunately he chkoked, Draymond Green was in his head. He missed a dunk, coudln't make free hrows. He should have continued with the jump shots, mini hooks but no he felt like he had to bully Green dunk over him.

With or with out Jimmy, it all depends if the refs allow steph to be defended by hand checking, holding , hugging, two or three people barricading him and bumping him on every possession. Steph is not tall man who can shoot over someone, but it's his speed and all these targeted illegal moves are destroying his speed advantage, leaving with his shooting only.
The refs relented last game when gsw went down 15 or so, but rockets are offensively limited esp on threes hence warriors could come back with 3point shooting.
Expecting Refs to let rockets run to a 30 point lead and cause foul trouble to all the warriors.

KG could never defend 1,2,3 or all 5s . 4s like Dirk and Duncan obliterated him at every meeting.

I REALLY don’t understand where is this Steve Kerr hatred is coming from.

I think people get frustrated because Steve likes to mess around with rotations, players minutes and combos during the season. That was one thing when we could sleep walk to the playoffs. It’s been problematic when we’ve struggled the last few years.

Not in 2022.

Outside of that season we’ve been in a dog fight for the playin spots. My point stands as to why people have been frustrated with his tinkering. He’s treating the regular season like development for the players and keeping the team fresh for a deep playoff run when we’ve needed to give more focus to the regular season than the past. I think fans have been overly critical of him but he’s also not perfect either.
