Modern sports are a bitch on the body. We used to have entire playoffs without significant injuries to any stars. Now every playoff is shaped by them.

I thought we were advanced? So you're telling me the guys that had to work plumbing jobs on the side were actually more durable than the mighty 2025 crew with advanced technologies, nutritionists, personal trainers, etc?

Weird.

Different types of injuries for different types of play styles. These guys have to cover so much more ground each season on defense and offense. Those prior eras were more prone to hits/bumps/bruises/broken bones from contact. What you’re seeing now is more non contact injuries from different play styles
