I’ve become fascinated with Nesmith. I know there were issues with him getting on the floor for the Celtics with their guard and wing depth but they gave up on a kid who turned out to be a hellish defender on and off ball.

Being key in the development of Pippen and Nesmith at Vanderbilt is a nice feather in Stackhouse’s hat. He and Nembhard slick pillars of the Pacers’ ascension, both dogs who showed Haliburton by example he had to step up defensively for them to take a leap. And he did, morphing into a fine chase defender all of a sudden.

Nesmith was a great shooter coming out of college but weirdly couldn't hit anything with the Celtics. That said he was a fan favorite for his nonstop hustle, and we knew we had a good player on our hands. With you guys he found his shot again, still hustles like a crazy person, has developed his game and become a terrific player. Happy for him.

Nice try. I was a basketball fan long before I was a Celtics fan. I’ll still watch all the games going forward this year. Sucks the Celtics won’t be there but I made peace with it and I have fun watching the sport regardless. Attacking my fandom does nothing to me. But again, nice try.
