All the top 6 drafted rookies playing today, Suggs, Barnes and Mobley have scored 20+ points on excellent efficiency today.

We'll see how well Cade and Green are playing and developing but passing on Mobley is going to get someone fired.

I actually think Kuminga is going to be really good too once he gets healthy. Hopefully the Warriors let him have another season in the G League instead of rotting on the bench.

Even Wagner has had his moments and Mitchell looks like a stud. That's your top 9 who all have the potential to be good. You have to go to the 10th pick to Zaire Williams to get to your first non great rookie and the jury is still out on him.

Hope so, but his coach, may prioritize wins and not give him burn to develop

Nah, it’s Mobley. Mobley is currently an all-NBA defender already.

Can you guys go post on the Raptors forum on how good Scottie Barnes is?

Mobley is so far ahead of Barnes it is not even close. No one other than Raptors fans think Barnes is even on the same level.

Raptors fans are allowed to talk about the rookies on their team in a topic titled "2021-22 Rookie Thread". There may be times when it's appropriate to ask a fanbase to have a conversation on their team board, but this is not one of those times.

if you read my posts, i've said i would love to have evan mobley..
Most media annointed Barnes with very good star-lvl potential but not HOF
Most ppl aren't afraid to acknowledge Mobley with a DPOY-lvl potential in the vein of AD and Garnett

I love to have Evan but doesn't mean Scottie may have the better rookie season
Both sides are happy, although there are a few ballboys who trying to downplay evan while overhyping scottie.....

scottie is promising as is Evans.

P.S. i wouldn't mind trying Scottie for Evan but Cavs would understandbly say no, happy

What’s Mobley so far ahead of him at? He’s better defensively right now sure, not by THAT much considering Barnes is a great defender in his own right. He’s been guarding all positions 1-5 and taking on the toughest defensive assignment every night from Tatum to Luka to Sabonis

Barnes is averaging more points on better efficiency. Assists and rebounds are the same

If you find it so difficult to hear others be excited about their rookie, feel free to ignore. Nobody’s gonna stop posting on GB cause you feel you’re opinion trumps all

Yeah lets only talk about Mobley and not talk about Scottie in the rookie thread. What a ridiculous post.

Mobley also is not far ahead of Barnes. If he is please provide actual context and evidence to back up your claims. Embarrassing post.

Weird post.

Scottie: 17.7pts (59.6ts%), 8.3rb (3.2off), 2.2ast (2.7to), 0.7st/0.7bk, 1.3+/-, 3.4nrtg
Mobley: 15.3pts (59.7ts%), 8.2rb (1.8off), 2.3ast (1.3to), 1.3st/1.7bk, 1.3+/-, 1.9nrtg

Saying that Scottie Barnes isn't even close to being on the same level as Mobley is being incendiary for no reason. Both are surpassing expectations and playing amazing for rookies. In fact, seeing that Scottie is scoring more points while playing at a slower pace, getting far more offensive rebounds per game despite being a combo forward, scoring at a higher efficiency despite self generating the majority of his points while Mobley is being fed easier looks by Rubio and Garland, I'd say that Scottie shows a higher offensive upside than Mobley at the moment. Defensively Mobley has been stand out, but Scottie Barnes has been the more impressive offensive talent by a considerable margin.
