Some Sixers fans are completely delusional

I accepted the fact that he was gone months ago

Forget all the noise, it’s over

Morey should have taken the best combination of player/pick available before draft night and, if necessary, flipped stuff later for a better fit

Now we’re faced with the situation where neither Ben nor the Sixers want him there and we will be lucky to be a 6th seed

Largely agree here, but I bet you they are still a top 4 seed in the east even without Simmons… further dropping his value by showing how inconsequential he really was.

I'm sure I'm missing something but why has Kyrie for Ben not gained any steam.

I truly believe both players are better fits on the other team. We know the Sixers want to move on from Simmons, my guess is behind closed doors the Nets would like to move on from Kyrie vaxxed or not. The salaries match up.

What am I missing, what side is the one that says no? Is it both sides not interested?

I just don't understand all the hate on Simmons.

I operate under the belief that any deal of this size gets run by Dame and they wouldn't do it if he told them he was opposed. I understand relationships and stuff. Dirk and JET were like brothers for a long time too. But I think if Dallas needed to include JET to go get a big time player Dirk probably wouldn't have blocked it. Luckily they were able to get Tyson for cheap and pulled out a title we didn't see coming.

Because we see the negative side of putting too much stock into friends. Look at the Wolves and what it cost to go get Towns' buddy Russsell. That wasn't smart.

It cost us Kuminga to get rid of one of the worst contracts in the league and adding a productive player in Russell. Your hatred for the Wolves is well documented and not worthy of a post after this.

They have a toxic team franchise and fans if I was been Simmons I would be doing the same thing.

I don’t say this nearly as often as some people about players, but who would even want Simmons on their team at this point? Screw this guy. I can’t believe people root for this kind of behavior.

What didn't happen? If it's the phone in the pocket you are arguing about, there is literally a video of it up on YouTube, with a giant phone-like device sticking out from his pocket while he's on the court. Of course, it could have been a vibrator, if so for that I apologize.
