They have a much harder schedule coming up in Jan/Feb relative to this past Nov/Dec, if they can keep up the pace without breaking down then it’s a done deal

On the other hand, it'll be nice not being on the road as much; Knicks will have played 14 home vs 19 road games after tonight, whereas in Jan/Feb they have just 9 road games vs 17 at home.

Funny... Bulls fans were pretty optimistic under Thibs too.

I've looked ahead. It's harder but not brutal and more games at home. They should be able to keep pace with their current % given they took the first 11 games to get to know one another (5-6 record). So, not the torrid pace they've had in December but still .650-.700. Two big tests against OKC in coming weeks.

We can beat any team if we're healthy. We'll have a top 5 offense & at least a top 10 defense once Mitch comes back and finds his legs.

Haven’t caught the second half meltdown yet, but I’m both encouraged last night by our ability to build a double digit 4th quarter lead…and disappointed that, just like against Cleveland, we ran out of steam and didn’t have the defense in the 4th to hold on.

A healthy McBride and Robinson would likely have helped a lot, whether just by keeping our starters fresher down the stretch, or by helping our defense in those closing minutes.

But I do worry that without another move and/or a great buyout pickup, we’re too reliant on being healthy as an injury to our top 7 could just be too much for Achiuwa / Payne / Shamet to fill.
