It's complete bs that's pushed by the same circle jerk of haters night in and night out. This team was fine before the injuries and that's a fact. The way he quit rubbed folks the wrong way, but he in no way made this team the laughing stock of the league, that is realgm propaganda. Considering what he inherited he did a great job. If the hate folks have for the lakers blinds them to the fact that injuries derailed the Lakers season then that's on them.

To all Laker fans who keep saying the Lakers should get Jerry West - even ignoring the fact that Jerry West is already working on his own project and he's too valuable of a commodity to care about the Lakers (shocking I know)

1) Jerry West has no interest in being a president or he would be a president already.

2) If Jerry friggin West wanted to advice the Lakers, he would be advising the Lakers already.
