Mobley & Barnes will be superstars as well.

Then there will be a bunch of other all-stars from this draft class.

This draft is stacked, but Cade's ceiling is multiple time all star.
Sengun, Mobley are future perennial MVP candidates, while Barnes has the potential to join them if he can become a well above average wing shooter in addition to the rest of his game which projects really well.
Banton can be really good too if his shooting develops.

Kuminga looks good, he's stripped Melo twice now.

Kuminga can definitely be really good. Elite defensive potential and he sees the floor and passes much better than people gave him credit for.
Brian Geltzeiler: You see Mark Jackson getting a head coaching job as early as next year?

Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

Kuminga has sky high potential. He also landed in the perfect spot for him as well. Kuminga has always shown flashes of brilliance on the defensive end, but they were always inconsistent. I know GS is known for the 3pt shot, but GS is an elite defensive team with elite defensive players on it. So day in day out he is practicing with guys like Draymond and Iggy. Also this is a damn good team and the only way Kuminga can get spot minutes is if he focuses 100% on defense. It's going to be like that all year long for him. If he wants to continue to see 10-15 minutes a game, he better bring 10-15 minutes of elite defense.

What a habit to drill into him for the 1st year. He has all the physical tools you can ask for from a wing prospect. So him learning to maximize that everyday on the defensive end is a great learning opportunity for him.

Then on the offensive end, you can already see the flashes that can make this guy scary good. His athleticism for his size stands out, even in the NBA. His speed and first step is something else. Add in the effortless explosion and great body control. The guy can turn into an elite 2 way player in this league.

Bones has pretty much single handedly revitalized Denver’s bench, which was an absolute disaster through the first 2-3 weeks. I’m really impressed with his ability to run the pick and roll and facilitate at such a young age. I love his fit as a secondary ball handler and primary scorer/gunner off the bench. Tim Connelly did it again.

I do think Barnes is in 2nd right now, but lets not make it seem like Wagner is that far off of Barnes right now. The only stat that Barnes is really ahead is in rebounding. Every other category they are pretty close while Wagner is a far better shooter as of now.

Bones was big time sleeper. Love the fit with the Nuggets.

Raptors and Nuggets are the best at drafting. No surprise here. I'll keep an eye on Bones from hereon, thanks for putting him on my radar.

Edit: Just watched his highlights against the Blazers. This dude looks like the next Jamal Crawford.

What is important about Bones is the fact that Nuggets are not playing him to develop him, they are playing him to WIN NOW. Two weeks ago he wasn't in Nuggets rotation and they had the worst bench in NBA. They had 2 players that started in POs last year (Campazzo and Rivers), 2 Greens (JaMychal and Jeff) and Dozier, all rotation players last year, and couldn't score or defend. They had to try something different, Malone tried Bones, and things fell into places. Veterans defer to him right now, giving him the ball to create something. Against Portland Nuggets bench scored 60+pts, he scored, dished...the kid plays like seasoned veteran on both ends of the flour.

Hopefully Cade has himself a 30 point game or something soon. He was very passive like this in college too but could get going a lot easier when he had too in college.

Have nicknames always been used for an NBA Profile? https://www.nba.com/player/1630538/bones-hyland

I mean, I've seen initials like OG, CJ, or middle names like Stephen Curry. But Bones is literally just a nickname.
