Drummond's fun to watch man. Sometimes you can tell he has a little guard in him. Seen him cross over and do some behind the back stuff this year.

He may have a legit faceup and drive element to his game eventually too. You can already see it at times. He's so quick for a guy that size.

How come drummond didn't play more tonight?
4-4, 7 rebounds, 1 steal, 2 blocks in 19 minutes. Seems solid and warrants more playing time.

Yeah he's become way too annoying, and that's saying something because I've built up my tolerance for annoyance on virtue of posting on the Raptors board.

Not a blind fan of a player = annoying to Raptor fans
Sorry for being honest about Ross and not acting like he's a top 3 rookie.

You go out of your way to bash Ross at every single opportunity, even when he's not involved in a discussion. It's sort of amusing because I think to myself, I wonder how Hero is going to bring down Ross now? Never mind that it gets predictable what topics you're bound to enter now.

Jesus Christ

Hero, you are obsessed with every little thing Ross does wrong and everything Drummond does right. Most of the board including myself just think he is a promising young guard, and we should have picked Drummond - maybe 1 out of every 100 posters is being hyperbolic.

Any time Ross misses two shots in a row you`re there to chime in "ross is bricking it", every time Ross plays well you're there with Drummond stats. It's INSANE

Funny thing is I was called a Val hater when I laughed at people thinking he would be in the conversation for Rookie of the Year with Anthony Davis. Surprising how many Raps fans were thinking they would rather have Val over AD. Like cmon, like your team but you don't have to be a blind homer.

It's fine when you disagree with a notion. I'm fine with people who don't like Ross, he certainly has his flaws. Though to actively pursue any discussion involving Ross and doing everything to paint him in a bad light, that's when it gets annoying. It's just a forum, having such strong agendas to stalk a certain player wherever he's being discussed is petty.

I don't know why you keep on portraying 5% of the fanbase as the vast majority.

I would like to know why he didn't play 30 minutes.

Same reason as usual, terrible coach.

Drummond is averaging 8.3 points 8.0 rebounds 1.8 blocks in 22 mpg in the month of December (16 games)

In his last 10 games hes averaging 8.8 points 9.7 rebounds 2.0 blocks in 23 mpg

frank needs to go if he isn't going to play him 25 or more minutes a game.

Whats up with Royce White refusing to play in the D-league? Does he really think he he has that much potential? It's an honest question because I never seen him play. I'm sure with his fear of traveling on air doesn't really help his NBA career.

You just came up with a theory, convinced yourself it was true, and then presented it as a fact. You have no proof whatsoever that this is what they did or what they are thinking.

There's a massive thread on it in general. He's claiming that the Rockets aren't accommodating for his 'issues' well enough so he doesn't want to risk playing. Of course a lot of critics are saying that he just simply thinks he's too good for the D-League and if he were given starter level minutes the issues would suddenly vanish. It doesn't seem to be specifically about his fear of flying.

It is certainly looking like a wasted pick at the moment...

I'm thinking (hoping) he'll eventually have faceup game too. He was doing stepback jumpers in summer league. A 6'10 270 lb dude doing step back jumpers, and looking pretty smooth doing it? WTF?

If Anthony davis and Lillard continue their production till the season ends, then Davis wins ROY. Right?

ROY doesn't take team success into consideration so i assume yes.

If they both continue, chances are AD eventually overtakes Lillard yeah. But if Drummond gets more minutes there's another horse in the race.

Eric Gordon back is big for Davis, both in terms of team wins, and his own stats as the floor is alot more space and their pick and roll should be a bread and butter for him with the attention going Gordon's way.

One thing to note in these rookie discussions is the impact Lillard has had on his team
for Portland literally has nothing behind Lillard and he's shown he can hold his end up at
the second most important position on the court after center.

Drummond is fine prospect but the guy plays limited minutes for fit on the court with
Monroe is a work in progress. Detroit can afford to limit Drummond's minutes and
allow him to grow at his own pace for they are not a playoff contender.

Davis is really smooth on the court and seems fundamentally sound. The Hornets don't
run that many plays for him but he's a guy who is less spectacular than Drummond
but should be more consistent than Drummond.

Solid 2012 draft with Lillard, AD, Drummond and MKG who would almost certainly be the
first pick in the 2013 draft if they had stayed in school. All four guys will be all stars
for years to come.

I don't know if I would take MKG over Shabazz, but other than that yeah I agree. Davis and Drummond > Zeller and Noel, and Lillard blows any point guard in this class out of the water. 2012 could be one of those superstar drafts.

I'm waiting for the 2014 draft for Andrew Wiggins might be the next hall of fame type of
franchise player for the NBA. I really like the four guys I mentioned but its not likely any
of them will be hall of fame types of franchise players.
