There are going to be nights where they just flat out kill people with big scoring numbers. Personally, I think they have a better than 50/50 shot of making the playoffs and if they stay healthy could be as high as a 5 seed. I like their acquisitions of guys like Felton and Azibuike.

That being said, they aren't going to rebound . . . at all and they aren't going to play defense. That's going to lose you a lot of games, particularly on the road.

The Suns won 62 and 61 games with what you just said.

We were average defensively but we were pretty weak on the boards

They aren't going to score like those suns teams did though

Of course you didn't NetsForce, you were too busy trying to find a new IP to register your new name on.

I'm pretty sure the Nets won all of 12 games last year, so do you not remember last year? Go back to your Terrence Williams threads where you guys decide whether he is going to average 12/5/5 or 15/7/7. You all suck and know nothing about basketball outside of vincecarter4pres

OP is pretty obviously a Laker troll. When you google his username an the word realgm the first thing that comes up is this thread, an the next thing is the fact that he was the last user posting in a thread on the Laker Forum yesterday.

12 wins and Melo doesn't want to go to the Nets.

Not really sure what that has to do with anything. But since you took the time to reply to me I'll take the time to reply to you.

- Just because the Nets had one 12-win seasons does not mean that they will be a 12-win team forever. Similarly just because the Knicks haven't won a playoff game in 9 years doesn't mean they won't win another playoff game forever.

- Carmelo Anthony said, and I quote, "I never said I wanted to play for the Nets". What he also never said is "I don't want to play for the Nets" or "I want to play for the Knicks". Mind blown? Carmelo Anthony has never said he wants to play for the Knicks.

If Carmelo never saying he wanted to play for the Nets means Carmelo does not want to play for the Nets, then similarly Carmelo never saying he wanted to play for the Knicks means that Carmelo does not want to play for the Knicks.

- So what's my take on all of this? My take is simple and unbiased. Carmelo Anthony could go to the Nets, or he could go to the Knicks, or he could go to the Bulls, or he could go to a whole slew of other teams. Nothing is set in stone.

- If my previous post offended you I apologize, but you''d have to go back over a decade to find the last time the Knicks were the best team in the tri-state area.

- Lastly If you'd like to debate this further there's a thread on the Nets board dedicated to Carmelo rumors. I'd be happy to carry on our civil discussion there.

Don't get me wrong, I love Amare and miss him greatly...Look at my avatar...

BUT! He is not one of the best bigs in the league. He is one of the best OFFENSIVE bigs in the league...But thats it...

When it comes to rebounding and defense...he is one of the WORST bigs in the league...

My avatar is the biggest defensive highlight of Amare's career. I still have it on since it reminds me of what a great player he could be if he really tried. But he never will put any effort on that end of the court consistently.

Knicks fans will soon realize that putting 25ppg up is good...but not nearly as important as what he doesn't bring to the table.

you've had 1 preseason game against an NBA team. And lost. To the TWolves.

Maybe it's a bit early to project them ahead of Boston and Orlando.

or last season. Unless we're using some kind of new equation that uses excuses and assumptions.
