12 wins and Melo doesn't want to go to the Nets.
Not really sure what that has to do with anything. But since you took the time to reply to me I'll take the time to reply to you.
- Just because the Nets had one 12-win seasons does not mean that they will be a 12-win team forever. Similarly just because the Knicks haven't won a playoff game in 9 years doesn't mean they won't win another playoff game forever.
- Carmelo Anthony said, and I quote, "I never said I wanted to play for the Nets". What he also never said is "I don't want to play for the Nets" or "I want to play for the Knicks". Mind blown?
Carmelo Anthony has never said he wants to play for the Knicks.
If Carmelo never saying he wanted to play for the Nets means Carmelo does not want to play for the Nets, then similarly Carmelo never saying he wanted to play for the Knicks means that Carmelo does not want to play for the Knicks.
- So what's my take on all of this? My take is simple and unbiased. Carmelo Anthony could go to the Nets, or he could go to the Knicks, or he could go to the Bulls, or he could go to a whole slew of other teams. Nothing is set in stone.
- If my previous post offended you I apologize, but you''d have to go back over a decade to find the last time the Knicks were the best team in the tri-state area.
- Lastly If you'd like to debate this further there's a thread on the Nets board dedicated to Carmelo rumors. I'd be happy to carry on our civil discussion there.
