He said both were locks for the all-star game. Are you upset because he listed Rose first?
OHHHHHH You guys just don't know what the word "respectively" means. I get it now.

Wade, Rose and Rondo are locks. After that you've got another 1-2 guards, which will come down to:

Jameer, Wall, Ray Allen, Vince, Iggy, SJax, Joe Johnson, Felton, etc.

I personally don't see Felton making it, plenty of guys playing similarly well who can much more easily be seen as "stars." Maybe he makes it if there are a few injuries.

Rondo, Rose, and Wade are locks.

The 4th guard will come out of Orlando. No way the Magic get only D12 into the ASG especially if they are 1st or 2nd in the east.

Padded stats because of the system. Not enough wins.

Maybe, maybe if they can improve on that record first, then he can be considered. (Over Rondo, Nelson no less too...)

I doubt he makes it... Rondo and Rose ahead of him... then guys like Wade and LeBron can play the point during an all-star game.

"Rose & Rondo, respectfully" That led you to believe that I think Rose is better than Rondo instead of Rose being selected before Rondo  I think both are locks but if either has a chance to start, its definitely Rose.

Lol, why are you getting so butt hurt? Rose is a great player, Rondo is a great player. Why cant you just leave it like that? You can make a case for either one

The coach has an effect on player's performance? No, really?

I never heard anyone talk about the Phil J factor, I guess he had nothing to do with how his players performed when playing in his system?

Also the best part of this thread is two people who doesn't understand what the word "respectively" means arguing about its meaning.

He only makes a case in a pure statistical manner. Nothing more, nothing less.

A barley above .500 team that has had one of the easiest schedules in the league, having 2 all stars? I don't think so.

Feel free to explain who gets the spots ahead of him then. I think everyone agrees on Wade, Rondo and Rose, but I fail to see how Felton has in any way disqualified himself from being a candidate to one of the remaining guard spots.

I don't usually post alot on this general nba board but man some of you guys are absolutely ignorant when it comes to the knicks...stuff like knicks dont even deserve 1 all star..like c'mon get a grip....people act as if this team is like the lakers winning championships year in year out..

To say jameer, vince should be chosen over felton when felton has BETTER stats than both is absolutely asinine...

I didn't say he didn't deserve it or anything, but his stats are really the only case. He doesn't make us a team that DESERVES two all-stars.

FIngers crossed, though!

I'm saying if you watched the Knicks this season you would see that Felton has been playing on another level. The guy has been MAKING PLAYS!
Hitting big 3's , hitting clutch floaters , making defensive stops, playing while sick....the guy is a warrior and should be higher than the likes of jameer nelson/ vince carter..
