If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

My first thought was maybe they released him to resign him back for a lesser contract. (Don't know to much about the that area) but this is just wow.

Thanks for the link, but I don't think that's quite what wife swapping means.

I still see him being in the NBA.

I don't think he's as bad (mental wise) as he was in Indiana. He made a really big change once he went to Golden State. It was such a big maturity change that he was even named co-captain with Baron Davis (I think that's where the "Captain Jack" nickname came from, although he probably earned it earlier with a different team).

After Golden State, I haven't been updated on him anymore but I'm pretty sure he's still a pretty mature guy now.

Jackson's stint with the Warriors started off well but didn't end well at all.

After smooth-talking the Warriors for a premature extension to continue to be the team leader, he threw a fit when the Warriors didn't trade Curry for Amare and forced a trade a few weeks into the season.

You're right.

Funny thing is I'm a Warriors fan and forgot about why he threw such a fit. Maybe I forgot about it because the Warriors have been losing so much in those seasons that I forced myself to forget everything. Lol.

He really bothered KD in a few games last year, glad he's gone as he couldn't miss vs OKC.

Then again "Kawow" Leonard will just get more minutes, so maybe it's a good thing for them.

Guy is a complete cancer, and I wouldn't want him near my team. He seems to have AI syndrome, where he still thinks he deserves a big role despite being on the downside of his career, and endlessly bitches and complains about it if he doesn't.

He's sucked and been a cancer for years now. If you're surprised you haven't been paying attention.

San Antonio are now lacking in locker room cancer and an inefficient over the hill scorer, but i see people have already recommended Mcgrady

He will definitely be missed. No one on the team has his toughness to step up when the Big 3.5 go cold. I'm depressed.

Apparently he couldn't stop complaining about his role on the team, which is not something you do in SA. Maybe Pop was too quick to pull the trigger, but Jackson needs to keep his mouth shut. Why not just shut the hell up and contribute whenever you can for such a great team and franchise?

Then again, maybe the reports are false.

It is unlikely that he is a difference maker given that he burned his last bridge with Pop during the season. If he was on any other team, he would be hated and be pushed to be traded before the trade deadline.

Bridges weren't burned if he was still getting minutes (up until the Denver game on Wednesday).

So what if they're pissed at each other? He'd proven far before we knew all about this hoopla that he could come in, think he's the best player on the court, won't be afraid to take a big shot, or post up and finish strong at the rim when we all know no one else outside of the starting lineup can.

Sure, if he's such a distraction I'm glad he's gone. Silver lining is Kawhi gets 45 minutes a game, which is huge. But when that extra push over the hill is needed, they sure as hell aren't getting it from Cory Joseph or Matt Bonner. NDC maybe. Gary Neal maybe. But Jack's ability to bull one's way to high percentage shot or a trip to the line was very useful.
