I don't think it should just be for D'Antoni, although that probably would be on list if D'Antoni is still coach.

I actually want to see Lin go play for the Spurs under Poppovich. A coach that is known to hold everyone accountable. Lin only has 2 seasons left on his contract, so he can just take all this as part of his learning experience.

I'd love to see Lin on Spurs
BUT
If there's anybody who's needed to be held accountable it's Mr I hate the dentist Harden and Mr LEMME POSTUP Howard. Lin has been doing great for this team, ball movement is better with him but he gets benched in favor of Beverly because of 4 steals in a preason game.
McHale is a bad, bad coach. Ran Aaron Brooks out of town after his MIP award, then did the same to Lowry. Now he's forcing this twin-towers lineup of which neither can post up, pass or shoot. He doesn't hold his stars accountable and joins the JLin scapegoat bandwagon.
Though i must admit, i love every minute of it

You guys ever see Harold and Kumar pt. 1?

Lin is Harold.

Now he just needs to man up and stand up for himself. I mean, he already has his contract and other teams I'm sure would be happy to have him as a starter/backup.

But when he plays really well, the media circus would get too crazy. SA isn't the organization for that.

The Spurs aren't the place to go if he wants to be a fringe all-star player. But he WOULD play really well off the bench there.

I see it both ways. Maybe it gives more added publicity to the Spurs that they don't get, or it puts him in the right environment where the media craze won't blow up as much.

I feel bad for Lin. He didn't do anything wrong in that game except for maybe taking that lost shot but there weren't a lot of options. Harden would've lost the ball anyways, and nobody would've said anything to him. Why aren't they mad at Parsons for inbounding the ball to Howard? Or Howard for not being able to make 2 FTs. Beverley, Casspi and Garcia combined for 3/21, and Beverley looked completely lost in that final play. Just stood there, and nobody probably said anything to him. Poor Lin.

Season Finale: Dwight doesn't win a championship.

Comments on IMDB after season finale: worst season finale ever, everyone would have predicted what happens after episode 5.

I mean Dwight has to be more aggressive, but I do feel for him, Lin/Bev/Harden can't pass for ****.
Casspi is the best at getting him the ball.

It's not the passers... It's Dwights hands of Granite, and his inability to get open without a screen.

I don't know what the point of going to the Spurs would be, aside from Pop - and that's not a good reason anyways.

Pop is one of the greatest coaches ever and all that, but how long is he going to be there? He has indicated that he's retiring when Timmy does, and considering that Timmy only has a couple years left, I'd assume the same goes for Pop. Lin is a good player, but he isn't good enough to make Pop change his mind.

I may have been critical of Lin in the past, even think Bargnani - Lin swap is fair, but com'on, last night was on Dwight/Harden.

But why are people surprised? Dwight didn't respect Nash, you think he'd give a f about Lin? The guy is a cancer.

is lin really being overpaid? he's having a great season 5 games in..

in 31 minutes, he's shooting 54.7% FG, scoring 15.3 PPG, and getting 4.2 assists per game. that's not too bad for $8ish million. he's also making the rockets more money by being of chinese descent.

Jeremy Lin gets traded this season and then on his new team he'll have some disgruntled comments about Dwight.
Just like all of Dwight's ex teammates.

That's another one too. Pop was just another example besides D'Antoni, since right now we'll have to wait and see what the Lakers plan is going forward with the cap space. I just think Lin needs to play for a coach that lets him play his game. It's still early for the Rockets though, since McHale is still trying the twin towers experiment and Howard being featured in the post.

All while being underutilized as the FOURTH option.

If you mean Greg Poppovich that would be ideal for Jeremy imo.
JLin on the Spurs would be devastating coming off the bench for Tony Parker.

The Spurs style of play caters really well to Jeremy's play.
Hard gritty defense, with a solid well structured offense. There always great at sharing the ball.

Everything Jeremy loves to do.

Oh an not to forget no prima donnas to worry about.

Jeremy Lin actually seems to be the hardest working player so far on this team. Them getting mad at him is pretty hillarious when Harden doesn't even try to play D and Howard still wants posts up and goes 5-16FT against the Lakers.

ya I completely agree, just being in a better situation overall.

But as of right now, I'm taking all this talk about Lin being bullied as a grain of salt and Lin himself doesn't get to the NBA without being able to hold his own.

Knowing all the drama that is already attached with the players on the Rockets, I'm going with that it's currently being blown out of proportion. It's just to easy to blame Howard and say Lin sucks.

This. Lin is arguably being underutilized, and his production is still good enough to justify his contract right now--and thats leaving aside the increased merchandise and viewership he brings.

The term "bullying" is being used too loosely these days.

I don't think teammates fighting once after a bad loss constitutes bullying. Lin can hold his own. You don't get to where he is and go through what he has gone through, without being able to hold your own. I'm sure he gives as good as he gets.
