Meh. Just a celebration thing. Some people have those sort of signature moves they do after a dunk/big shot/etc. Can't really think of many though besides VC's rev up when he dunks. Not sure if the Ray Allen's smirk counts or not.

They got a lot of pressure when they take that kind of shot because a lot of people are ready to bash them.
Personnally i like it when a player celebrates a winning shot

Here is another explanation

It's like He's taking a huge step up onto a pedestal while he's pushing the rest of the world down with his hands...

At first, i thought it was the walking dead but he did it already when he was playing with the Cavs... i would have loved that explanation 8-)

Yeah you're right it's not that big a deal. Guy makes a shot he can celebrate how he wants. Just seems a bit long and contrived, but whatever. I'm more of the understated school, partly because such celebrations in hockey, for instance, are frowned upon (Ovechkin got ripped hard for a contrived 'my stick is too hot to touch' celebration) but I understand that different sports have different cultures and acceptable behaviour. So yeah, meh lol
