Yeah, we didn't need to see tonight's game to see that. Our bench sucks. With Jennings and Meeks out, it's really a struggle to get anything out of them. I'm sure the intended design was to get guard scoring out of our backups, but both the scorers are out.
Both our backup point guards are awful, Stanley Johnson is really inconsistent on offense, Baynes is immobile, Bullock is terrified to do anything, and Tolliver hasn't played well this year. As a whole, if Dinwiddie is playing, the defense is pretty solid, but the offense is freaking terrible.
The GM (Bowers, but also SVG with his President hat on) may need to do something. We need a bench scorer pretty badly. Perhaps a forward, so it's not a panic move entirely, as that person will still be useful once the guards are back.
Also, pretty sure Drummond was still sick tonight. He didn't look right.
