This wouldn't happen if Cleveland would just surround Lebron with vets.

Maybe his coach didn't give him days off but let's not pretend MJ didn't do his fair share of partying, women, and gambling. It's pretty widely know that David Stern basically told him to take that 2 year vacation in the prime of his career due to severe gambling issues.

Curry is the current poster boy, well deserved btw, but let's see how he holds up if he somehow makes it to 5 consecutive Final appearances.

You're right. He would just take two years off instead.

Boy this really hammers home how easy Jordan had it pre-social media. Remember Game 3 vs. the Knicks in '93? Yeah, that was the result of having been in Atlantic City through the night gambling.

He was probably drinking some wine because it's good for your health.

Cavs have a lot of vets. That's the reason LeBron didn't knock out anyone when exiting the club.

Who cares, it's December. He'll be there when it matters.

This thread is a mixture of bitterness of those who blame him for partying and the LeBron fans completely losing their s***. It's definitely comedy gold.

Maybe if he was an underperforming player or a guy who didn't produce on a consistent basis and there have been links to irresponsible behaviour causing it, it could make sense to complain. Since he's not, I'll let an adult make adult decisions with his own time.

He took the night off due to rest. Sure sounds like he was resting. :banghead: :nonono:

I don't think his body was going through much rigorous activity. Unless your mom was at Rockwell too.

no problem with lbj taking a day off... just odd that the 1st game he misses, just happens to be the first game back in miami against his former team...

this just adds to the narrative that he is mentally weak... a real alpa wouldn't let anything stop him from playing this game...first game back in miami...a place you won 2 titles and multiple mvp's... wouldn't you be pumped for your first game back in miami ?

missing this game is a big FU to the miami fans who payed money to see their former mvp play...

also strange that they go out of their way to mention this was blatt's decision. well who else's decision would it be?

This was the Warriors' big chance to move up in the Western Conference, and they blew it.
