KAT will have the 'bigger' sophomore year but I think Russell will have the biggest improvement over last season.

I think Muliday improves the most - though a lot of that is how much room he has to get better - while Towns has the best season.

Jokic will get hurt a bit from playing out of position at times while Denver tries to see if a Jokic/Nurkic post combo can work.

What a great draft. Lots of these guys are going to be around for years and years assuming no major injuries.

Russell. No Byron, and his body is much more developed than last season. Not many point guards can stop him from posting up whenever he wants and his 3 point shot looks much more consistent. No Kobe taking 20+ shots a game opens up more attempts for him, no hibbert or Kobe slowing down the tempo means even more possessions in a game.

If Walton really brings in gsw offense the team will be built around getting he and Clarkson good looks.

His mpg will likely go up as well to maybe 32 mpg

I think he Will have the best sophomore year by a mile.

Not to mention how much improvement he showed from last years summer league to this years summer league. It was like night and day. He also has more to prove after the way last season ended.

Not mentioned here, but Im expecting a big season from WCS under coach Joerger. I think they'll turn out to be a great match.

I don't think any other sophomore will put up a season as good as KAT's rookie season, so...

Do you mean who will have the most improvement in their sophomore year?

I think Porzingis will be the best player on the Knicks this year. We were the 4th ranked defense when he was on the floor and the 27th when he was off the floor. Carmelo started to defer to him near the end of last year and really trusted him more than any other time I have seen in his NY career, he's definitely the best player he's ever player with in NY, and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him average 17/10/3/2/1 this year with elite rim protection.
Go Knicks!

I think KAT will have the biggest 2nd year. Kinda shocked Stanley Johnson didn't make this list. He'll have a bigger year than a few of those players listed.

Considering he was averaging 21, 11 and 3 post All Star break, even without another boost in production KAT still seems likely to be an All Star caliber performer. I don't know if I think any of the others are going to get there.

Porzingis will rain hell on those who doubt him. This is the year he proves why he should have gone number 1.

I love KAT and I begged God for him to be a Knick before the draft, but God answered back by throwing on a pair of shorts, lacing up his sneakers and joining the Knicks himself.

KAT's going to have the best sophomore season but I can see Jokic making a big leap forward as well.

My pick is Booker. Dude was awesome last year and I think the Suns will find some way to give him more playing time so that he can just explode this year. (And of course KAT)

Kat will be the best but lookout for the turnaround Turner will have. Remember he was recovering from injury and lack of palytime at Texas. Now he has a full season and offseason under his belt he is going to make a lot of gm's look silly.

Mudiay also stands to improve. Winslow will have more of a chance than anyone not named KAT however I think he will force a game that is not natural to his games development.

Hard not to go Towns here. After that I'd go Booker and Russell. Also expecting KP to take a significant leap as well.

I think its Russell. I got to watch KP firsthand. He's awesome from a potential standpoint but its hard to forget if you weren't watching that he hit a rookie wall and became relegated to a shooter. Allot of those highlights were just that, highlights sprinkled throughout the season. I definitely think he'll be a great player but I could easily see him having a great third year or even fourth rather than his second. Its definitely not unfounded.

I think the player with the best sophmore season is gonna be Russell. Started off real slow and then had that dumb twitter incident and people wrote him off. Then he played a great second half of the season. Rookie mistakes for sure but he was confident and seemed to get better as the season went on. Hes on a young team where hes gonna have all the opportunity to lead the way more so than alot of this list. I didnt vote based on team win/loss but its probable he gets much better and possible his team actually gets better as well.
