Didn't Giannis have some pretty big numbers last year though?

He's 24 now and in his 6th season, He's always been versatile and efficient but his shot just looks smooth especially from 3. His numbers will probably dip a bit once Reggie gets back but so far he's looking like a MIP candidate.

Through 5 games-

20.8ppg, 58 fg%, 53 3pt% (3.4 attempts)
23 PER
68 TS%

Chances of him maintaining that scoring efficiency (particularly that 3P%) approach zero. Chances of him shooting 60% from below the arc on the season are also pretty limited. He's shooting 61.1% from 3-9 feet, which isn't going to continue forever and will likely decline quite soon. Seems remarkably unlikely that this is anything like his full-season profile.

He played pretty good in limited time last year for us when we got him too. Obviously he won't be this efficient but I think people underestimate just what a versatile scorer he is now inside and out.

Better, yes, but yea, we'll see major regression from these particular numbers.

Does anyone remember when Bradley was ranked as the #1 player in high school on some sites?

Feels like he's been in the league forever so I was really surprised to see he's still only 24/25

It's just super-early. I don't want to dump on his parade, just making a note.

4-0... looks like the Thunder don't really need KD after all.

Where he was picked in the draft he's really been a best case scenario player.

There's no chance he gets a max deal. That's like $27M+ annually.

In a market where Adams gets 25? He's getting a max deal. Someone will overpay. Evan Turner just got freaking 17 million

Adams is 23, is a big and has a lot of potential. Bradley is none of those things.

A couple years from now there isn't going to be nearly as much cap-space so deals won't be quite as inflated.

I mean you really think Bradley is gonna get a ~120/4 max?

The Warriors lose to the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals because their defense is terrible and Durant will shrink from the moment.

This is becoming a more likely possibility especially with Leonard becoming better and more dominant offensively. Yea it's a long season but GS should e been smooth sailing after that 1st loss but they've been grinding out games.

It was supposed to be easier with Durant lol

Whats up with Brandon Ingram's shooting?

Post#95 » by nurseryc » Sun Nov 6, 2016 10:42 am

Ingram's major strength coming into the draft was supposed to be his shooting?

Ingram through 6 regular season games:

2-13 from 3 point range (0.154%)
12-32 from field goals (0.375%)

Emmanuel Mudiay seems to be carrying on from where he left off last season. I understand giving minutes to your developmental players but at this point I think Denver is handicapping itself every game by giving a 28% usage and 31 MPG to a PG posting 75 offensive rating and -6.8 offensive BPM.

Unfortunately their only other option off the bench is Jameer Nelson.

Not that he isn't a bad shooter, but this is too soon. Criticizing a guy when he's 0-1 or 0-3 from some spots isn't serious.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I'm looking straight at the 38% at the rim. I didn't think I had to crop the picture to get that point across

He was only 46% from there last season & hasn't shown a modicum of improvement.
