On shows like TNT and ESPN you hear a lot of them talk how Towns and Embiid could end up as the two best bigs in the league. They don't seem to mention KP to often surprisingly. I think he has more potential than both of those guys.

Tbh last night on ESPN T-Mac and Jalen Rose said they would start their franchise with Porzingis over Towns, only Billups said he would take Towns over Porzingis to start the franchise right now.

Edit: And tomorrow they have a TNT game against the Warriors, Chuckster and Shaq loves Porzingis, so they will give him tomorrow night some praise words.
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

I'm hoping that he spends the upcoming summer working on a KAJ-like sky hook. If you add that to his outside shooting ability, handle, work ethic, and above average bb in, I think he would be unstoppable.

I voted the second option BTW. I worry about his health. Some of the falls he takes are VERY scary. I think if he can stay healthy he could end up being a top 25 of all time player.
All in all he's just another prick with no wall

This poll reminds me of a thread that I set up around year 2000, "who's better, Dirk Nowitzki vs. Detlef Schrempf" and I remember Dirk won by a small margin. 7-8 years later the poll was "Dirk vs. Larry". You never know what you can expect.

That's a great idea. It would be essentially unblockable, as Kareem's mostly was.

I've said this a few times I know, but this Summer he has plans to FINALLY meet up with Dirk and train. :D

I'm guessing the Knicks staff will also continue to v have him build up his core and lower half, and than progress to gradual muscle mass.

They (Knicks staff) started it this Summer, and you can see the fruits of this labor, as he is getting pushed around A LOT less compared to his Rookie year.

In a tough Christmas day loss against a great Celtics defense, Porzingis put up:

22 Points, 12 Rebounds, 4 Blocks, and 2 Steals on 9-16 FGs (56%), 2-4 3PTs (50%), and 2-2 FTs (100%)

I think Proz will be like Dirk. BUT while Dirk is in the top 20 now (I love Dirk) I think there are so many great players there is a chance he and Prozingod may get bumped out of the top 20. Dirk is an all time great. 1 championship and 1 MVP.

LeBron, Durant, Wade, Curry, Davis, CP3, Westbrook, KAT...

In an controversial OT loss to the Hawks in which the Knicks had TWO chances to win it still (Rose in regulation & KP in OT), Porzingis put up against Dwight & Millsap:

24 Points, 8 Rebounds, 3 Blocks, and 1 Steal on 7-17 FGs (41%), 4-8 3PTs (50%), 6-9 FTs (67%)

And this happened on a Coast--> Coast Defense leading to Offense:

Porzingis had a REAL test last night against the phenom that is Anthony Davis, and he did VERY well:

21 Points, 12 Rebounds, 3 Assists, 2 Steals, and 2 Blocks on 8-20 FGs (40%), no 3's, and 5-5 FTs (100%)

He's up to 5th in the LEAGUE in BPG! :D

Crazy 3-possession sequence for KP tonight in the Knicks first win in years. Doug Collins with the "oh no...OH NO" as KP pulls up from 30 at the end is the cherry on top of a fun highlight.
