Wow - so I wasn’t by a TV last night, but wow is the media salty over the PG thing. Thunder really pulled a miracle for the second offseason in a row, didn’t they? ;).

Now they are all about Boogie to LA when he wasn’t in the press as being a target for going there until now (no billboards, no photoshops in Lakers jerseys, etc.) - Boogie’s got to be at least a little annoyed about how he’s their sudden backup plan after PG fell through.

If this is true

Lebron and drama should be synonymous in the dictionary.

For taking 3 days to sign a new contract?

No, for needing to announce his decision on a certain date rather than the date when the decision was made (like most players).

He's an egomaniac through and through. But most all time greats are.

If true, it'll leak before then.

Who lead their team to 52 wins and the third seed as a rookie and sophomore.

Sure.

Its a great story at the moment, and Philly should sell it like that.

But the fit and the future are still very much in doubt.

Lebron is in win now mode.

I’m not even sure he can beat the Celtics at full strength in Philly.

Wonder how Cousins feels being the Lakers 4th priority target.

Simmons/Kawhi/LeBron/Embiid has a legitimate chance to win titles for years to come. People get too caught up in not wanting to trade their young guys so they can let the team grow organically and develop together but don't realize just how hard it is to win a championship in the NBA. Simmons, Embiid, and Philly's young core will certainly be a force in the East for years to come, but there's no assurance they'll be better than Boston or be able to take out whoever comes out of the West. You're not throwing away the future here. Kawhi is 27. Simmons and Embiid are 21 and 24. LeBron is older at 33 but he's coming off one of the best seasons of his career end to end and has the work ethic and durability to be better later in his career than pretty much anyone else in history. And Philly still has Zhaire, Shamet, and future picks.

If they pass on getting two top 5 players just so they can keep their current construction intact they'll regret it.

Boston fans right now:

One thing for sure that whole "Lebron to LA is not about basketball, but his lifestyle" was utter BS. The man wants to play for a franchise that gives him the best chance to win championships. If LA got Kawhi, he would have signed already.

Sounds like a great picture that Philly should paint.

Embiid
Lebron
Kawhi
Redick
Simmons

That is the dream scenario for Philly and would be one hell of a team.

Don’t think he Resigns with Cleveland at this point..
He would have already done so.. It’s LAL or Philly

Why would LeBron even consider the Lakers? Philly without Kawhi is better than Lakers with Kawhi.

Philly won't bandover for LeBron, like Cleveland did. If he is willing to come - we are glad, if not - we'll be good either way. And Embiid just told a truth.

As long as we agree he ain't coming in that case. And you guys can remain looking up to the Celtics.

Thats why the Cavs are where they are....Gilbert and GM are a fiddle to LB so if your a Cavs fan and like that more power to you...the Cavs will be around long after LB and so will Philly...NOBODY is bigger than the game or organization

To fit Lebron under the Sixers cap they will have to renounce JJ Redick. Ersan Ilysova and marco Bellinelli have already signed with other teams. Those 3 were key members of Sixers unbelievable late season surge. But their lack of defense was really exposed in vs Boston in EC semi-finals

No outside shooters left on the Sixers really unless some trades are made(Fultz-Saric-Covington-Picks ). You may get some vets taking discounts to ride on Lebrons coattails.

To sign LeBron they need to renounce the rights to Reddick. He isn’t an option.

The biggest Lebron supporter on Television. He's a major TV personality, I seriously doubt he would give concrete details like this without some sort of info
