BTW, the longer version of the Kings war room reveals a lot IMO. You see Chris Mullin sitting next to Vivek all happy and Vivek calls him "one of my favorite people in the world". I truly believe it was Mullin's fault the Kings went with Stauskas thinking they're drafting Mullin 2.0.

I'm not a proponent of paying a max when still in a rebuild.
He however checks a lot of boxes in a player you want. Besides the injury.
20 a year kinda makes him untradable. If not for that a good signing.

Divac really wanted last summer to sign with Otto Porter max deal, not to force Washington to do it. Same about this offer. And I can't see Chicago is going to match this, despite LaVine is the centerpiece of famous Butler trade. 78/4 is way too much for 2018 FA market standards.
