Exactly how tall is Joel Embiid?

He damn near looks like it. I remember watching him next too Drummond and he dwarfs him. But yeah seeing as Boban is 7’3 Embiid can’t be that tall.

Drummond is around 6'9 without the shoes though. Embiid is not close to Boban in size and Boban is 7'2.25. Nobody is close to Boban in today NBA, he's a giant. Embiid is around 6'11-7'0 without the shoes, he's smaller than Gobert who is under 7'1 without the shoes. Players listed heights are not reliable. Embiid is bigger than most centers, but it doesn't mean he's 7'3. Look at someone like Jabbar on the court (slightly below 7'2 without the shoes) and then look at Embiid - he's not close to his size.

A long wingspan always makes you seem taller, Drummond has a '7.625 wingspan. I'm only guessing Embiid's is probably around 7'8" or maybe close to Bamba's 7'10".

Wasn't he measured at 7'5 before draft? Quite low for such a huge long man, maybe it's not reliable source.

He's 7'2" and Simmons is 6'10" (although people try calling him a 7-footer often for some reason).

Ben Simmons 6'10 in shoes, and with liberal rounding; he's 6'8¼ otherwise.

Yeah that's technically not true. You pretty much gradually lose height after your late twenties it's just like bell curve where it's very noticeable when you are elderly. It may be fractions of a mm but if you are 28 you are starting to get shorter.

lol, my father measured out at 6'4 at his last checkup before back surgery, he was 6'4 on his military ID which was 30+ years ago.
