Why isn't Jayson Tatum in the poll? IMHO he's already a top 5 player and he's the best young player in the NBA.

Who said that? Judging play in the bubble is useless in judging play outside. g.

...are the rules of basketball different in the bubble? Arguably it should have impacted the Lakers as they lost a rotation player in the bubble, they seemed to handle it fine.

No one is saying Giannis can't ever win. But your assertion that Giannis is by far the best player in the league is objectively wrong given the results we have seen so far.

Team results do not represent that of who the best player is. And who cares what the lakers did? It was still the damn bubble. It was a novelty setup by the league to save money. I'm not going to use it in a serious basketball discussion.
.

Well if you're going to say that no fans had such a large impact on a professional basketball team, idk what to say. Literally everything else about the play was the same.

No fans, one location, no home court, huge massive giant season changing layoff, players coming back from covid, teams flat out not really caring, some teams really caring. It was the biggest mess I've ever seen and I'm sure I missed 500 reasons why it shouldn't be used to judge a player. I'm not going to waste any time discussing the bubble short of speculation on young guys because to be honest at least that's fun and that's 100% possessive talk about upside an potential and it's meaningless come the regular season anyway. But trying to pick apart play in the most absurd money grab in sports history...
