Super teams aren’t new. And for all the blame Lebron gets for the modern era super team, it was actually Boston with KG and Ray Ray who were the first of this era.

I would rather just give Milwaukee the kudos they deserve right now and not make this about anyone else.
I was really happy Giannis and realistically that whole Bucks roster won. Look at their roster, full of blue collar guys that have had to work their ass off without much love.

Giannis had two All-Star caliber players in Kris Middleton and Jrue Holiday. I don't consider them a Super Team though.

He is always going to be loved by the fans from Milwaukee for sticking it out. The Stars that jump around from team to team are not the ones beloved by their fanbases.

In addition, Giannis did it in a so-called small market where not a lot of players usually want to go.

It's great to see and Giannis will forever be a hero in Milwaukee and to their fans.

And AD was traded to LA. No one nitpicks that. Not Cleveland trading a #1 overall pick for Kevin Love. Teams are built using the draft, free agency, AND trades. The ending result of a super team is debatable, but that wasn’t really my point.

Giannis just added a great accomplishment in an already impressive legacy for his age.

As for the superteam argument, you can call this team however you want, but it wasn't manufactured. Giannis didn't collude with Middleton and Jrue didn't force his way to Milwaukee. By the way Jrue and Midds are great players at their role but let's not act like they are multiple all star/all nba players.

Instead of ''hating'' on this team's accomplishment and talking about how each ring stacks against each other, you should be glad that a small market team, that doesn't attract big name free agents managed to keep it's superstar player, build around him and get a championship. When comparing Giannis' career so far to Lebron's initial stint in Cleveland the biggest difference I see is how so much more mature Giannis is compared to Lebron at the same stage. Lebron never showed commitment to Cleveland during his first run and acted with a sense of entitlement. Giannis on the other hand since he joined the NBA had to develop his game, prove himself and grow into the leadership role. Giannis is a much better leader than Lebron was at the same stage.

Or it's the fact that Giannis had a far better supporting cast

Bron haters don't talk reason. Not only is Middleton the better, so is Jrue than any first stint LeBron Cavs. Bucks also have a better owner, coach, and front office. But this is not about the praise the Bucks and Giannis should get. It's at the attempt to bash other players. These forum has just become a wasteland to hate on players.

This year it was the injuries, but stacked teams fail all the time for any number of reasons. You keep giving it all (no just saying so but really giving it all) and if you get a couple of things go your way, who knows.
That's what Giannis is all about: giving it all. And he got rewarded today.
