The way billionaires use their money is astounding. If Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk put 1/50th of their money together--they could solve a lot of the worlds problems. Why none of them even attempt to and would rather build spaceships is beyond me.
Like..how much money would it cost to build new water pipelines in Flint, MI so they can have clean water. A few hundred million, maybe? Bill Gates could write that check to fund new pipelines and never even feel it. He could also use it as a massive tax write off.
That would be the greatest PR move in history for any of those guys.
