Morey is the biggest clown through all of this. He overvalued Simmons knowing damn well he didn't have any leverage. The trade market essentially dried up and now he wants the team to patch up the relationship and save his ass. I fully support Simmons for giving them the middle finger.

The trade deadline is only just over 3 months away. A desperate team who's not doing so hot by that time will cave and give up the good stuff for Simmons. Happens every year.

I am glad Sixers are suspending him. This guy doesn't know how blessed he should be playing a game that he loves (I believe) and get paid millions and be famous. He is a diva, a child and flat out stupid. Once he goes to a team like OKC/Sacto or something like that and become a nobody there, then he will realize what he lost.

I am sick of these kind of people who don't appreciate what they have - making millions for just playing basketball and cry anytime they are criticized for something that they should be improving upon for all these years.

I have no issue with the way philly is handling it you cant say your against the player empowerement move and expect them to cave to simmons that doesnt make sense. How else are they suppose to handle it? Take pennies on the dollar because he wants to be a brat? Its not like he has 1 year left he has 4 YEARS and is pulling this.

Not really pennies on the dollar though when just a couple of weeks ago they were asking for CJ + 6 first round picks/swaps as though they were dealing Anthony Davis.

Morey is just incredibly greedy, and his greediness is being punished right now.

Have you seen some of the packages people expected them to take I understand hes asking for too much but at the same time you cnt expect him to just take the garbage thrown his way.

CJ + a pick or two for Ben was always a fair framework that would have benefitted both teams. But Morey got greedy and asked for 6 picks/swaps. . I think Covington was involved too, to boot. That's the kind of brazen greed that insults the GMs you're negotiating with and removes them from the table.

Glad to see he’s now deploying the James Harden strategy that so many thought he should adopt. Be an even bigger distraction while still getting paid. Sixers were better off with Ben holding out, now they’re really going to feel the circus around them.

Whether it's sitting Simmons with no replacements or letting him play in this state, you're wasting a year of Embiid's prime.

The stupidest part is he's trying to get traded but this ish is only going to make teams less interested in trading for him.

Simmons and Paul have one long term goal right now and that is to get to Los Angeles eventually or another big market. This whole saga has basically accomplished another thing for Paul/Simmons in that its made it clear if Simmons isn't happy where he's at this is how he'll act so it sends a message to be wary(especially if you're a small market) of trading for him. What also helps Simmons is the biggest star in the league seems to be wholeheartedly in his corner.
