Kind of true though isn't it? LeBron has a history of teaming up in order to win a championship. Giannis toughed it out old school and got over the hump after many said he wouldn't win. Dame wants that same outcome for Portland, and clearly he loves it there. I'm all over this mentality, although I doubt he wins in Portland lol.

They have no clue how to roster build or develop over there.

is AD even good anymore after getting manhandled by mobley? if lakers are craping the bed, i would offer AD for dame.
put westbrook to sg. big 4 can put out 100 ppg. lakers already have enough big men with rim runners they dont need AD who cant stretch the floor and hes mr glass.

Lillard should try to strike the middle ground and go win a Ring on the Jazz or Nuggets.

I don’t see it happening in Portland.

this is one of many reasons why the NBA cant be taken seriously. LeGM has made a mockery of fair competition (not saying its just him) for well over a decade now.

The WWE is still a more believable product than the NBA even in light of silver gifting Miluwakee a chip.

LeKlutchSports would figure some way to swap westbrick for lillard straight up once westbrick starts triple doubling LA out of games.

Westbrook has better scoring efficiency and is better defender and passer. I think Lakers dodged a bullet here.

reposted but might sting some of LA to know they could have had Lillard over Westbrook. Not only that but the ship has probably sailed. Blazers would be better off even taking Simmons and picks.

I really don't get it. You hear people constantly criticize on players who have had few 1st round exists on their career and then you have lillard with 5 of them...

Lillard would have been a better fit, like Carmelo on roids. Westbrook's efficiency has been climbing since the first couple game but he is still somehow shooting below 50% ts beside Lebron and AD. We'll see which Westbrook LA got when the sample size gets larger. It has been steadily climbing but he's just as likely to go 4-15 in the next game and drop all that upward momentum.

Dame is a bit overhyped as a playoff performer but his 40% shooting series didn't come sharing the floor with multiple all Nba players.

The funniest part of the story is LeBron asking Dame to take an uber home after he refused to team up.

No, it paints Durant as the dark side of his thoughts and Giannis the light.

Lol ok

When Lillard says "he's not sure if he wants to go that route", whose route do you think he's talking about, obviousy its the footsteps of taking the easy path and getting shunned by half the audience like Kev.

Nah, I'm good. Lillard is less of a point than most. Great scorer when he gets hot but doesn't run the offense well enough

Westbrook is also alright but the Lillard/AD Pnr would have been the same brand as that Booker/Ayton connection teams couldn't figure out in the playoffs. We haven't even seen what the offense will look like in the playoffs when Westbrook really starts getting ignored or gets given a mile of cushion to barricade the paint.

It's a huge drag having to ignore the right pass because your Pg can barely shoot. You won't run postups, pick and rolls and drive and kick offense at the same effectiveness, huge when your opponents might be the highly potent Nets. All compounded by AD's recently broken shot.

Lillard won't get traded within the conference; It's almost rare it gets done, outside of Davis to LA in recent years. Why would a rival help another rival in conference? Lillard will most likely go East.

I've always thought this is dumb by teams and they should just take the best deal. Most teams justify not trading a player in-conference because they "don't want to face the player 4 times a year". The problem with that logic is usually the star they are trading is in their 30's and probably at their peak and about the decline in a couple years. And then they're trading their superstar, usually the team trading him is about to start a full teardown rebuild wanting a high lottery pick.... sooooo... who cares if you face the player you're trading 4 times a year?

I still think Lillard can play high level basketball until at least 34-35. CP3 is still productive as are many other players. Lillard type players don't grow on trees and they are smart enough to adapt and change their game to stay competitive.
