Rudy imo has maximized his potential probably, Simmons hasn't even really touched his (and refuses to try and push his game).

Black men get it 100 times worse by white owned media like espn despite white Arab Rudy gobert not having a lack of offensive moves besides over the back dunks.

Way to go off topic. First off, Rudy’s father is a black Carib and his mother is white. Second, trying to say a multi millionaire is being unfairly treated because he is an Aboriginal is ridiculous, he’s being ridiculed because he refuses to improve or even play because he wants to play somewhere else. That’s not how the world works when you sign a legal contract.
Ingles is cooked.

Aka the the most impactful thing you can do defensively.

So your also think that Seth Curry is better offensively than LeBron?

I honestly don't know why people bother to post this kind of low - effort illogical guff. 'He's better at the most important thing, therefore he's better overall' is like what you'd expect from a fifth-grader

The original post was about defensive impact. You can straw man all you want and ignore the underlying point. A center that can contest every single drive to/shot around the basket (the most efficient shot in basketball) is more impactful defensively than a switchy wing. That "guff" is backed up by defensive impact metrics, but go ahead and call it low effort.

You and I both know that the questions around Gobert's impact in the playoffs when teams can gameplan for him and potentially play five out can't be answered by blithely citing stats.

I'm really unsure of what posters like you are even trying to accomplish. Who is your audience when you just lazily say things like 'stats say I'm right' or that ridiculous 'rim protection is the most important thing therefore its the only thing' attempt at a mic-drop? You're not going to convince anyone who's at all educated about the sport or paying attention to the league. And you're certainly not going to win an argument.

Gobert vs Simmons is a legit debate, and actually quite an interesting one: guy who is great at the most important aspect of D, but less flexible and gameplannable vs guy who is great at everything else. Its not a debate you win with these kind of posts.

Rudy reads these threads and uses them as motivation, confirmed.

I know right? How dare I cite stats in an argument. Once again you're using a straw man because at no point did I say "rim protection is the most important thing therefore its the only thing".

I don't understand why you're soapboxing so much about problems you see on this board when your account is 5 months old. No one cares.
