You beat who they put in front of you.

As for the current Bucks, I'd say they have as much chance as any of the 'contenders' outside of a complete, healthy Nets roster.

I've gotta say, the Bucks are the luckiest team of the last 20 years. Every legitimate contender sustained an injury to their core players last season during the playoffs and those injuries resulted in Milwaukee walking into a title. We are talking about a title so gifted that it legitimately adds credit to the Raptors 2019 title. Maybe even KD's rings (Eh, nevermind not really). At least the Raptors made it out of a tough East with an elite Sixers team taking them to the wire. Last years Finals was a once in a life time thing. Neither the Suns or the Bucks will make it back. I guarantee it.

Any thoughts on how to “legitimize” that bubble title the Lakers won a couple of years ago since you seem to be the expert on what’s a “real title” and what isn’t?

The bubble Lakers lost home court advantage and had to play on a neutral field with no fans. The other team gained an advantage if anything. They were also old and took forever to get going. They were trash until the second round. Title was legit.

Nets will not have complete roster this season cause Irving won't get vaccine.

lol stay mad.

Welcome to this type of absurd thread. Warriors fans never experienced this crap until 2015 and on, eventually you get used to it. But you 100% have the right approach, don't get sucked into dumb long debates.

The Bucks have been injured/missed time. Portis, Holiday, Middleton, Brook Lopez, all have missed a bunch of games. This is actually worse than I thought when I looked it up.

Yawn thread.

Of course it was “legit”. You’re a Laker fan. Nice job omitting all the advantages your team had from that situation too like the obvious lack of travel benefitting older teams more than younger teams.

Then there’s the heat losing their leading scorer Dragic for pretty much the entire series and missing Bam Adebayo for part of the series.

Make no mistake, I’m not suggesting that the Lakers win in 2020 wasn’t legit. I’m just illustrating your obvious hypocrisy in picking apart other teams wins and then ignoring all this stuff when it comes to the team YOU cheer for.

And I only mentioned them because you literately brought them up. You could have picked any other team (except the KD-Curry-Klay Warriors) And I would have argued those titles would have been legit. Hec, I even gave credit to the Raptors in the OP. This is about the Bucks being lucky like no other team in the last 20 years. Not the Lakers.

Hell no LeBron got to rest for 3 months so no wear snd tear from the season the Lakers were set up for that title same dog the Heat who were basically playing at home. Bucks are a better team this year they will come out if the East.

In the last 3+seasons Antetokounmpo has been the most successful superstar in the NBA, Budenholzer has been the most successful coach and Milwaukee has been the most successful team in the league.

They have won more regular season games, more playoff games and more playoff series than any other NBA team.

Bucks undefeated so far this year with Jrue, Middleton, and Giannis all playing together. Can't wait to see this team after getting Brook and Dante back. Will add much needed depth!

Oof, unfortunately you guys are getting Cousins. By definition Cousins will never win a ring so any team that gets him is sadly out of luck.

OP got a lot of salt in his saliva for Milwaukee for whatever reason.
Last year around this time he was saying that it was a lock that Giannis wouldn't resign with Bucks.

Once he realized he was wrong about that, he came out and said that Giannis would never win anything here.

After going 0-2, he tripled down and dropped this gem to start the season.

Bucks record was and still is fools gold for other teams and their fans.
Bucks roster has 8 players filled with scrubs and 2nd round rookies. With injuries we don’t aim for 60 wins. 50+ is good enough.
If healthy this team is better than last year. If not healthy, well, other teams are very lucky...

Are they fools gold yes .
Always have been .
Are they exposed no .

Objectively they have been a 2 star team in a 3 star era . They’ve never been true title contenders to me other than being a perennial top 3 seed but never should have never been thought as title worthy and happened to win the last man standing bubble champ part deux

Wow man, are both your personalities typing at the same time on this one? So much contradiction it can't be one person...
