Report says 2 weeks? In all reality, he might just miss a few games. That seems kind of weird as I thought it was definitely broken.

Day to Davis strikes again. Maybe he had a point of not playing C full time

Not sure how anyone thinks that's cool or even remotely funny.

His injury could happen very easily to any player in the league. Just a case of bad luck.

yeah, and then the scar tissue from the torn ligaments can lead to chronic ankle sprains. I guess the thing he has going for him was that he wasn't running at speed and jumping when it rolled.

Cursed season. At this point I'm just hoping for a reason to deactivate Lebron for remainder of the season. Come in physically and mentally prepared for one last hurrah in the 2023.

2 weeks? That feels like better than the best case scenario. Lakers aren't dead yet (at least this year).

Yet he's the lightning rod for all this. Despite dudes hi age and younger missing more time earlier in their careers. Give me a break.

Both of his injuries this year were contact injuries and bad luck.

The NBA has a superstar injury problem league-wide.

You are listing players who had injuries that required season+ long to recover. The unique thing about Davis is that he misses time because a myriad of minor injuries.

KP had likd 2, AD had like 2? Rest is just small stuff all ghe gime, like kned soreness of backpain or any other part of thd body. Faxe it, AD and KP are the same. Whatcouldhavebeens.

Levon didn t mention Porzingis in his post. I think Porzingis is a bad comparison. He had two lenghty injuries (ACL and Meniscus) and a lot of smaller stuff/stuff that stems from his big injuries. He has missed much more time than even Davis.
Again, Davis never had an injury where he missed half a season or even more. At least i think that. Feel free to correct me.

His body is certainly failing him quicker than I expected. He's 28 years old, so still young, but the Lakers should possibly shop him around this off-season.

It really really makes you wonder would he have made it through the '20 playoffs without the pandemic stoppage. AD and KD are easily the top 5 most skilled players in the league but the random bad luck they experience with injuries must be maddening for their teams fans to go through.

Unlikely. The stoppage helped AD AND Bron more than people realize.

AD isn't Giannis, he'll likely be back end of March

It's an ankle injury that is very common and he will miss 3 to 5 games.

Feels like a funeral in here

You're right and every time AD goes down he looks like he got shot... Then most of the time he gets up and finishes the game...

That said, as the injuries pile up, it is starting to feel a bit like a funeral... Especially as an LA fan...
