the LeBron thread on the PC board is hardly even about LeBron, its just WB and AD hate and a bunch of stans who freak out over any critique of their GOAT. Technically speaking, he didn't ReBurn his bridges with Cavs fans as you could see in evidence at the All-Star game.

Of course, just to set the table, LeBron decided to actually grant an interview with Jason Lloyd where he mentioned he was open to returning and some other nice things.

Anyway, it's all part of the LeBron experience that franchises go all in for a stretch, experience constant drama in the regular season, try to win a title or two, and are left worn out and in taters by the end.

Alot of his 'stans' seem to live vicariously thru him. It's kind of sad. Maybe these folks need to start living their own lives. Yes Lebron is an all time great but will never be the GOAT when you see him give up on a season like what seems to be happening in LA. He's now been there 4 seasons and 2 of them were bad/unwatchable teams.

Pretty much. These are the same fans that were rooting for the Warriors a few years ago because the Lakers stunk. LA fans will always have a soft spot for Laker lifers such as Magic and Kobe but someone like Lebron is just another in a long line of mercenaries that have played for them and will be considered an outsider as such. No doubt he's an all time great but will never be beloved in the same way as Kobe in LA.

The Lakers could have stayed the course with their young guys and develop a team that would bond with the fans. That is the best way.

Look at the Warriors and the bond their fans have with Klay, Draymond and Steph. They have had some struggles with injuries but the fans DGAF because the players stuck with the team and delivered. They brought three titles, they stayed with the team, there is no subliminal twitter crap about going to other teams.

What we do hate is the Entitlement aspect. He made his bed. He needs to lay in it.

Magic got his coach fired, Kobe and Shaq fought, Jerry Buss was equally cheap and let a lot of good players go. There has always been a lot of drama around the Lakers. They are loyal to all their stars. So Lebron isn't the first. If Lonzo was Magic 2.0 Lavar would be an advisor to the Lakers at this point.

I think Kobe was the better individual player (more talent and skills) but Lebron has stat-padded and super-teamed his way into having a greater career (in terms of longevity, stat totals and winning with 3 different teams), which is the main reason why he deserves to be over Kobe in the all-time lists.
