So no.

Booker is not objectively better. Curry is.

Such a talented and fun offensive player. Sure hope the Hawks clean up their roster around him this off-season. Especially moving some offensive players for some guys who give you more defensively. Just too many one-way guys around a guy you know is always going to be an issue on the other end.

But so much crow for me on Trae. I did not believe he would be anywhere near this good an offensive player and if he's really going to shoot in the high 30's from deep, good luck league. Just impossible to deal with if he's making shots with that accuracy.

When you think about Trae’s offense, you have to factor in his playmaking ability, which is very Steve Nash and James Harden like….

Jokic
Curry
Durant
Doncic
Giannis

are all clearly better. Then there is

Embiid
LeBron
Tatum

Arguably top 10. Definitely top 15.

What argument does he have over Jokic? 27ppg on 66 TS% vs 28ppg on 60 TS%. Trae does average 1.6 more assists a game, but he does so on a slightly higher usage right.

Trae scores very efficiently and creates a lot of scoring opportunities for his teammates so yeah I'd say he is in the convo for being a top 5 offensive player.

He can do everything Jokic can do offensively and he weighs about as much as Jokic's left calf.

You also basically answered your own question, btw. :)
This isn't true.

Jokic passes better and is simply more effecient offensively

Not really, if you watch the Hawks and the Nuggets, what passes does Jokic have that Trae doesn't? His advantage is his ability to see over the defense.

i wonder what the stats say, but ive never seen a guy that gets his team more layups in the half court than joker does.

Second post of the thread implies as much.

I mean, people are entitled to their own opinions but some opinions really just make you scratch your head.

Yeah but everything Trae can do Jokic can do while being 7’ - it’s kinda not fair -

Jokic kinda like Hakeem-curry-magic lite-

Trae is right there. he's simply too fast, too quick and shifty with the ball while being a good shooter and an excellent playmaker. He can get wherever he wants and there's truly nothing to be done about it. The 76ers and Bucks really had no answers for him. He doesn't need help creating his own shot.

Jokic, maybe KD, LeBron, maybe Embiid, maybe Luka are better. Thats pretty much it though. Booker isn't near the same level as a playmaker, not really a better scorer
