Just stepping back and realizing, a team with KD,Kyrie and Simmons should easily be the favorites coming in to next season...Except for MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES. And, yes, include KD into the mental health category. All three of those fools are too screwed up to see what opportunity they have. Just get on some meds. ALL OF YOU!

But as a Celtics fan I am delighted to see them take this brilliant situation and just toss in the trash. What a trio of morons!

Internet/nba pundit driven narrative turns out to be baseless. Well I'm shocked.

Yes , to Miami for Jimmy

No thanks. Don’t want him anywhere near the Heat. Dumbest thing Nets can do is let him leave for nothing next offseason. Which he will if given the chance.

He was given a chance this offseason

As I said before, a puff piece meant to help give the Nets leverage.

The NY Tabloids, I can't emphasize this enough, are not controlled by teams. Nor do they actively write articles to help teams. If you think that you don't understand how the New York Media works.

They will gladly make it harder for NY teams to compete if they can get 1 more reader.

Is Woj or Shams controlled by NBA teams? No, they're fed tidbits by what GMs/owners feed them. Same thing here.

Again the fact you compared the New York Post to Woj or Shams shows you really don't know what you're talking about.

Those 2 guys actually do care about getting stories right. Their credibility depends on (i) breaking stories first; and (ii) accurately.

The New York Post doesn't give a damn about getting stories right.

Hence the reason why I said it wasn't a reliable source...

Their interest is getting readers not helping the Nets. You plainly don't get that

Woj completely misrepresented the Harden situation - a lot of people think he was being used as a Nets mouthpiece.

Woj used to be beyond reproach, but his integrity is questionable now imo.

EVERY reporter whether it be ESPN, NY Post, etc. needs clicks to stay in business. That's a fact. NY Post is not a reliable source.

The article was written to give the Nets' leverage. Now you pivoted to it being clickbait.

Youre clearly just making things up because you want Kyrie to be a Laker.

How would you know if NY Post is a reliable source?

Highly doubt you are from NY or read the sports section regularly.

Brian Lewis is a beat reporter for the Nets and has reported things all year. He doesn't just make things up for attention.

Just because you don't like it doesn't make it false.

NOTHING about my original comment contradicts what I said later. You're assuming that I was saying that the NY Post was a reliable source in the first post, which I didn't. You can have a post that is not credible, but still benefits one party over another.

Same reason I don't find teams' mouthpieces to be reliable source of information. They report what they hear from their side. I'll ask you this directly, how many non-Nets' sources do you realistically think Brian Lewis talks to?

So sad and pathetic.

Nets easily have the most talent in the NBA.

But all 3 of their "stars" are nut jobs.

If they all shut up and play basketball they have a very good chance of winning the East.

What sources have reported that Kyrie has requested a trade to the Lakers?

Name one.

It was Nets insiders that first reported KD/Kyrie coming to the Nets. And the contract disputes with Kyrie. Also KD's trade request.

Not national reporters.

Your claim was the Post wrote the article your words "written to give the Nets' leverage." Now you are claiming it was written to get clicks.

You changed the reason you think the article was written
