No one. KD's pretty overrated at this point. He has maybe 1 or 2 more years left as a top 10 player if he's lucky and the asking price is insane. Nets want 4 first rounders and a lot of these proposed deals I'm not sure if they'd even be better next year.

Idk if he wants to join James Harden again tough. But if I'm Philadelphia I'm taking this trade right away.

They might end up losing Joel if they can't stop being pretenders. Also KD + Joel with a great playmaker like Harden sounds like a recipit for success. Fit is incredible!

The Suns
Devin Booker is not a #1 option
KD is & he is what the suns need
CP3 is too old to be your #2

Depth would immediately become an issue, but we’d be a top destination for buyout players. Who knows, maybe if it’s the best trade available Brooklyn goes for it.

He should just stay in Brooklyn.

Nobody's gonna give the Nets the "historic haul" they're looking for

young star+very good role players+a bunch of unprotected 1st RP?
No thanks

"He's under contract for four more years!!"
You'd have him at 34 to 37yo....yay...
We're not talking about a 28yo pre-ACL KD here
And it's not like being under contract is any insurance, as we can see now

kd is just not worth the asking price imo. he doesn't guarantee a finals appearance or anything like that. he's a great player but the nets are really overrating his value, especially considering age and his recent injury. i wouldn't give him away for nothing, but they have to know they are getting nowhere close to the haul they are supposedly looking for. being greedy can sometime come back to hurt you.

Playing hard ball isn't going to work out for the Nets organization. NBA players will want to avoid the organization for more reasons than not wanting to play with Ben Simmons.

The Nets saw their future (Tatum, Brown) beat them in the playoff, now they want your current and future, so they can do it to you.

Nets get an all-star top 10ish player to stay competitive, while dumping Kyrie in the process. Clips go all-in on Kawhi + KD.

Durant + Irving for George + Jackson + Powell + 2028 first round pick.

Clippers 2023

Irving - Wall
Durant - Mann
Leonard - Kennard
Batum - Morris
Zubac - Covington

Nets 2023

Jackson - Curry
Powell - Harris
George - Warren
Simmons - O'Neale
Claxton - Griffin

I'd rather take my chances with the current core of the Clippers than trade for Kyrie.

Durant & Leonard hmmm I don't know. They probably win 2 out of the next 4 with those two.

na the Clippers are cursed. didn't you know a Raptors fan layed a hex on them when Kawhi joined them?

noone if you're not a top free agent destination. because you're gonna gut a good chuck of your team in that trade + your future.

doesn't even guarantee you a finals appearance. and its not guaranteed he plays all his games moving forward. i don't care what he did in this past year - he's a potential liability. and then you have to contend with his fragile ego.

I tend to think the worst FA destinations should consider trading for Durant the most, for that very reason. Take a team like Sacramento; they probably don't have the assets now but if they did, Durant would be a good option for them. You say that a team like that is going to gut a good chunk of their team+future, and while that's true, where has 16 straight years in the lottery gotten them? With a top-3 player like Durant, they at least become interesting. They get talked about, they get national games, they make the playoffs. Unless you're concretely on track to putting a really good team together, I say go for it if you can.

Other than obvious answers, I would go all in if I'm Denver. Hella risky, but eff it. Jokic will be 28 in February.

Porter, Green as a framework, plus some combo of their youngster and/or future picks.

I know I'm simplifying a complicated situation, but if the Nuggets want, I believe they could make it happen. Jokic/KD/Murray/Gordon/KCP as the starting 5 and you figure it out from there.

Since seeing that Jerry West interview, I really wonder if he's planning to flip Paul George + picks for Durant.

The earliest first round pick that the Sixers can trade is 2029. You think the Nets will be okay waiting that long? Do the Sixers trade picks that far out?

Also, some people think of Tobias Harris as a bad contract (my two cents is that it's neutral). That makes this trade Maxey (good player), Thybulle (good defensively, questionable offense) and picks far out into the future. I'm not sure why the Nets would take this deal.

Then you also have to ask: Does Durant want to play with Harden again?

For the Nets I guess Porter Jr would be the main part of this trade, but I don't see why they'd trust his health (I wouldn't if I was Brooklyn).
