You realize they split the series last year
Before Harden right?

Yeah, but the Knicks have updated with Brunson too and both those games were without Derrick Rose.

Sure, but it doesn't change the fact that the Knicks stink

But it's irrelevant because the NFL has a triple header that day of some pretty good games.

Silver and ESPN/TNT should've bribed and begged Goodell/Fox/NBC/CBS to at least not schedule any good games. Instead they put Rogers, Denver(Wilson)vs Rams(Stafford) and Bucs vs Cards(Brady v Murray). Oh and the Bucks and Nuggets may be potentially airing at the same time as their NFL counterparts.

Thankfully for the NBA next year is the last year the NFL will probably schedule any Christmas games for a while.

The Knicks won their Xmas game last xmas. They deserve a game to defend that streak

Could very well be a repeat of last season unless there are significant roster moves between now and Oct 18th.

everyone talking **** about the lakers are ridiculous. any team with Bron/AD are a good team. when AD inevitably gets injured they will suck again. but if he stays healthy they will be good. game 1 they will be good

Eh maybe not. Are warriors better than LeBron driven team? Absolutely. But this is also the first game of the season and Westbrook has always been solid defender of Curry capable of shutting him down. Neither of these team showed last season any kind of stable success but they were very much up and down. Combine with the fact that Lakers have a new coach they might come out guns firing on the first game even if they end up being yet again another mediocre LeBron Lakers team. Oh and almost forgot Day to Davis. He should be healthy which won't be the case rest of the season after first few weeks..

Edit. As someone mentioned warriors also have ring night so their minds are somewhere else.

Warriors started 18-2 and finished 3rd in the NBA, how did they not show any kind of stable success?

You just explained it yourself. Odd that you still question it even after writing it yourself.

Had the exact same reaction. Honestly at this point, the Knicks are the Christmas version of the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.

Can you explain but actually make any semblance of some sense? You just compared a team that finished 11th in the West to another that finished 3rd in the NBA as both being up and down. Make it make sense.

First game of the 2022-23 season - Sixers at Boston.

Question - which team will KD be playing for?
