These donkey **** actually added a BATTLEPASS to NBA2k24.....

They're basically adding tiers you can pay every month to get extra rewards...Boosts etc...

So there are different tiers....Highest one is HOF tier in which you pay around 20 bucks a month to get maximum rewards....It's basically money grabbing scheme in it's lowest form there to attract the younger audience who'll undoubtedly be all over this.

So they raised the VC price to upgrade your player in 2K23 to something absurd and now this season pass crap....Gaming has really gone down the **** when it comes to online play.

If you think that is bad. You should check out mobile games. I know of people spending thousands a month on a game. Crazy

There was a morbidly obese elderly woman I used to work with who got addicted to mobile games. She stopped paying electric, her car got impounded, etc. she’d bring a duffle bag to work every Monday filled with iPads and tablets to charge them off free electric. She had a coworker drive her in.

Lost hope when I found out they sunset the MyCareer in 2k20. Thought it was a single player campaign which I could play anytime I want, but nope.

What do you mean? Is "MyCareer" an online mode now? I didn't know that.

You can't access MyCareer in 2k20 now. It needs 2k servers to run and those are shut off. I think it's because you can earn VC in MyCareer, hence its considered an online mode. It's bull anyway.

I play MyTeam almost exclusively at this point. But I also don't spend money on it anymore. You tend to be able to build up the points fairly quickly to get good players.

I think it must be just a principal of a thing. Every sports gamer knows he is a sucker, they repackage a patch as new game and we all know it, but at this point they laughing at us in our faces, saying no matter what we do, you still gonna buy it.

This is basically the only game I buy yearly, I get well worth my money from it. People are making a fuss over something small.

This is why i always just stay a year+ behind and download rosters...i just bought 2k23 on the xbox store for 4.99 so it doesn't feel like a rip off anymore...i'll wait on 2k24 likely until next october. Its just not worth paying $99+ for a "patch" that hasn't improved the game since roughly 2k13. I hate my player mode, haven't enjoyed it since 2k14-15ish, i cant stand myleague anymore...i just play for the franchise mode or play online with friends
