as a consistent superstar, i question if he can be, even for 20 games in a row. but he hasnt had his last 40,10, 7 and 4 block game. his combination of foul baiting and skill is just undeniable. the defense is probably gone though.

This x1000.

Gaudy RS numbers/performances but routinely shrivels in the playoffs with no real postseason success to his name despite being in the league for a decade. One of the strongest players in the NBA but is constantly on the floor rolling around like he got hit by a mack truck. Also made of glass and routinely injured when his team needs him most. Can't score at a high level without flopping for free throws which goes away in the playoffs. Big Man James Harden is his legacy

James Harden did almost pulled off the feat of defeating the prime GSW. However, there is no angle for Embiid that favors him, he has all-stars (Butler/Simmons/Maxey/George) and solid role players throughout his career whereas Harden had end of prime Howard and Paul.

I do agree that the foul baiting is distasteful, perhaps they were meant to stick together as teammates

I think it's crazy putting those two in same tier career wise.

One is a first ballot Naysmith hall-of-famer, the other is first ballot in the would-coulda-shoulda hall.

It's ok to say you just don't like Harden, but to constantly dunk on him like he isn't going to end up a top 10 scorer when it's all said and done is crazy.

What legacy? The King of the 2nd round exit?

His legacy is being the worst postseason underperformer since David Robinson.

It's kind of crazy to me he might have the same career trajectory as Yao. Big who could never get healthy with McGrady. Biggest what if with the rockets and this will be the biggest what if for the sixers.
