Why do you think that this would be better?

These bench Derozan posts are so strange to me. It's not like they wouldn't play together. They'd still be sharing the floor for 20+ mpg like they are now. They'd still be finishing games like they are now. He's not a perfect fit, but he's still better than any other option they have.

DeRozan and Sabonis cannot share the floor together for extended periods of time. Neither are willing to shoot threes nor defend their position well. DeRozan needs to be on the floor with Fox and three other shooters and as little as possible with Sabonis.

I think he's a good long term piece, but he's a small forward. He's doing is best PF impression and trying to help out on the boards, but it's not working. Anyway, this seems like a situation where the guy bets on himself vs extending. He's still got another year to prove he deserves a big payday.

Maybe for someone like Harrison Barnes even ;)

Don't think the Spurs would do that. Maybe if you throw in a good 1st.

Keegan Murray has mental problems. He gets in his head wayyy too much. He went into slumps consistently in his rookie and sophomore years and he's just completely fallen apart in year 3. At his best he has shown the capability to be a high end 3&D player so there's hope that player is still in there somewhere. I just hope he finds it fast because he is a liability on the court right now.
