It’s true though, I mean Bron already beat the Grizzlies 2 years ago, and that was without Luka and Reaves. Grizzlies is just too weak offensively, they’re just gonna swarm Morant and game over. And don’t get me started with Rockets. I don’t even know why they’re in the playoffs. I think they’re just getting by through extra effort. But when the playoffs come and all the old veteran teams (Lakers, Warriors, Clippers, Nuggets who are all just coasting) turn it on and match their effort they’re just gonna get blown out the water. We’ve seen it time and again.

Because they have the second-best record in the 'bloodbath' Western Conference?

Hope this helps.

Yea but the distance between 2nd and 10th seed is what less than 10 games? I’d take the Suns over this Rockets tbh. Rockets are like the Kings, no stars.

It's a couple fold.

Mitchell injured his groin again, it is the same injury he had in the 2023 playoffs and tried to play through it. Checkout his shooting efficiency in the Cavs 4 game losing streak, he's a shell of himself.

The West Coast schedule was brutal, 3 games in 4 nights and 5 in 7.

Just terrible timing for both things. The last point is the Cavs getting weak on the defensive glass. That is why Knicks fans pray they meet the Cavs at some point in the 2025 playoffs. The assumption is Robinson would be a bully and own the glass again, if he could play enough MPG.

I'd rather we just beat the best, but if you & Boston wanted to lose to Indy & Orlando before running into us, I wouldn't mind :D

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

The good thing for the Rockets is they have the assets (both players and draft picks) to go shopping for a legit superstar in the off season.

A Giannis and Sengun front court really intrigues me.

Man with the Brunson injury and now the Dame injury, i have no clue where 3 through 6 are going to finish. That is obviously looking one step ahead because Cavs are not even guaranteed to secure the 1 seed.

Every fanbase in the playoff picture in the west are basically praying that they face Houston or Memphis. And the more I read those comments, the more I can't wait to face those teams. Give me the Lakers. Give me the Warriors (those 2 fanbases in particular have been very loud in their disrespect lol). I can't wait to prove them wrong and send their teams home in round 1.

It’s true though, I mean Bron already beat the Grizzlies 2 years ago, and that was without Luka and Reaves. Grizzlies is just too weak offensively, they’re just gonna swarm Morant and game over. We will see. It's not like I don't get why teams prefer us or Memphis, we're young and inexperienced, our core haven't played a single minute of playoff basketball yet, but with the disrespect comes a chip on our shoulders. I feel pretty confident we can knock one of these teams you mention out before we get eliminated in the second round.

Regarding the bold, you think we're 2nd in the west after 70+ games just because of extra effort?

To me the Rockets and Grizzlies are a different category. Maybe I just haven't watched them enough but the Grizzlies just don't scare me at all. Rockets however are a bunch of dogs. They do lack the 1st tier scoring option but they are well-coached, have championship level veterans, and won't let you punk them. They're closer to OKC than they are to Memphis imo.

I'm with you. On paper Memphis is the scarier team, they've got the high end #1, a DPOY-caliber #2, a great #3, plenty of size and nice depth...but they don't seem like serious threats. Houston may like the elite #1, but that team is full of dogs.
