There are an unhealthy amount of people on here that think Jokic is the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ.

Agreed, it’s why I can’t wait for their season to end. Sick of reading threads flooded by Jokians crying and trashing Jamal Murray, and the rest of Jokic teammates. Without a doubt the most toxic fan base of any player in the league.

Excited to see Denver go home and the new generation of young stars like Brunson, SGA, Ant and Haliburton take that next step.

Do you think any of the Thunder's ability to double and sometimes triple team him has to do with the knowledge that the Nuggets have a max contract player who has 3 games of scoring 3 or less points and is missing his open 3s (7/27 in the series)? And the replacement for him is...Westbrook who's a solid 5/25 from behind the arc in the series?

There's no punishment for double teaming Jokic, and he's got a choice to make: Go 2 on 1, or get a 20% shot...there's a reason he dropped 44 last game and had TWENTY potential assists (only 5 assists)...because he finds the open man and they brick, which just encourages the double/triple teams.

The fact that he put up 40+ twice in this series on a historic defense, while his 3rd option this year has 15 points in 4 games combined (g1,g3,g4,g5)...who is supposed to be a lethal 3 point threat...is legendary in itself.

The Nuggets are doing the same to Shai and his teammates are equally bricking, its why this has been a close series throughout.

Jokic has been all time great in games 1/5 but the other 3 games he was well below his standard when it mattered the most. 3/13 in the 4th QTR for 7 points in those 3 games. 31 points in the 4th QTR in games 1/5. The contrast has been shocking.

Perkins level of success as an ex-player in broadcasting is the most inexplicable of any player in my life. He's not a former superstar with an appealing on screen personality ala Barkley or Bradshaw. Nor is great at explaining the game like many past players such as Leglar. Nor is he an amicable guy who doesn't add or take away from the broadcast. He doesn't even a good voice.

I think the Jamal sickness is a decoy thing. Did the same thing in Clippers series and he didn’t seem sick at all
