Dude, your Jokic hate is almost a disease at this point. Do you seriously think Denver would not have made it back to back eastern conference finals with the weakened competition that the Pacers faced 2 years in a row?

If you say no, you are either a troll, super biased or don't really know basketball.

No, Denver wouldnt of beaten even the weakened Cavs. It’s about matchups.

Also i don’t think Jokic has beaten the Knicks in the Brunson era.

They took a Thunder team that would likely sweep their way to the ECF to 7...despite having 4 playable players with MPJ injured and their awful bench. Stop it  People expected a 4/5 game series...

The Thunder are a great team but styles makes fights. Denver was able to play a simple zone and load up on Shai because nobody else on that team could make a reliable jumpshot. Jalen Williams shot 37 percent for the series and that number was much worse before his breakout game 7 performance.

Denver would not be able to run that zone against a team with multiple shooters like Cleveland. Donovan Mitchell could probably go point for point with Jokic, and Cavs have two 7 footers, one being the DPOY, to throw at Jokic.

Cavs not a better team than OKC but more built to exploit Denvers weaknesses.

I felt he had Robinson on his heels and could have had an easy pullup middy, or step back middy at worst. Instead runs back to the 3pt line. Today's NBA. It HAS to be a 3.
It reminded me of the old NBA Live games where you run away from the basket and hit the 'shoot' button and the player jumps and spins at the same time to shoot.

Probably but he's also a lil Jamal Murray/Jimmy Buckets in that he is "good" in the regular season but a certified star in the playoffs

People expected a 4/5 game series because they expected OKC to play and shoot better. But they shot extremely poorly. Do you think they looked remotely like a 68 win team in that series?

Do you think Nuggets look healthy? Denver showed their championship mettle and OKC as a young team showed they were able to get over the hump. Both teams deserve credit.

Nah the Nuggets weren't healthy, im not saying they were. My comment was regarding the statement that people predicted a 4/5 game series, and how that prediction was based on thinking OKC would play and shoot better, which they did not do.

The product has become stale bc of too many bland vanilla personalities.. we need more players that can inject some personality excitement into the game.

Haliburton throwing a ole homage to Reggie in the garden in game 1 is gonna age well or he's gonna look stupid when Knicks come back to win the series and im here for it.

The Knicks came back and won the series where Reggie did it.

This right here. I'm a Knicks fan but fully respect Haliburton.
Both are super smart.

This play below shows 2 point guards trying to use their smarts (at 5:37 mark).
Brunson trying his hardest to get the ball inbounded quickly because he knew it went off his fingers.
Haliburton got between him and the ref basically delaying the action so that the coaches have enough time to decide on a challenge.

Brunson is without a doubt the better scorer.
Haliburton is without a doubt the better passer.
Brunson was an incredible 15-25 for 43 points.
Haliburton with 11 assists and great ball movement.

Both are probably the clutchest players in playoffs.

This is a fun one.

More so his personality, I mean it's hard to root for someone that's clearly a d***.

How is he a dick? He goes out there and plays ball. Yes, he's taunting/crucial, but he's hitting timely shots.

Tyrese makes an appearance at my job often. Trust me, he's far from being a d***, so the haters can continue to hate.

Zero credit to Denver's defense - just OKC playing poorly.

Denver made them look mortal - they won't be challenged again for the rest of the 'yoffs. They're gonna beat Minny in 4/5, and make light work of the EC Champ...

I wouldn't want to face the Pacers if I was the Thunder. They have a bunch of taller shooters and spreading the Thunder's defense out is the only way you're beating it. I'd be far more comfortable against the Knicks.

I've just realized the people that hates him, are the ones whose team were beaten by him (Bucks, Cavs and Knicks). Makes perfect sense now, as he does drives the opposing fans nuts with his antics in the same way Miller did back in the 90s. The guy is the modern day Reggie Miller....when healthy.

It's game 1. Show some class dude.
His father was even worse at the Bucks series.
I mean, calm the **** down. That's the reason people hating on the guy although he's a great point guard. Do you need this for your career going forward? I don't know.
He has great clutch plays though and this must be respected.

Is amazing somehow is his fault his dad was being a dick. He even called out his dad at the presser didn't he?

This is correct.

Maybe a sprinkle of Kings fans too. Sabonis trade. But that's more envy than hate for them.
