Mike Malone has a ring because of Jokic, lol. Mike Malone would be no different than Thibs.

In any case, it's not going to be him.

Malone has a ring because of Jokic.
Budenholzer has a ring because of Giannis.
Nurse has a ring because of Leonard.
Lue has a ring because of James.
All the above would be no different than Thibs.

Do you really believe this?

I particularly don't.
Malone did really well at Sacramento
Bud took an average team like Atlanta to 60 wins losing in the ECF with no legit stars comprised on Horford, Korver, Millsap and Schroder. :banghead:
Nurse lead Toronto to 53 wins AFTER Kawhi and Green left, 2nd best in DRTG.
Lue has a respectable record with the Clippers with Kawhi missing a ton of games.
I really hate measuring rings thinking the team was literally carried by Superstars alone.
If this is the case then Collins would have won a ring with MJ.
Del Harris would have won rings with Shaq and Kobe.
Kidd would have won a ring with Giannis
MJ, Kobe have zero rings without Phil.
Wade without a great coach.
Giannis didn't win it all until Bud came along.

I'd be very interested to see this as well. Maybe he'll decide to be on the sidelines next to Malone and mastermind that defense.

You have -897592374 chances for stealing Spo from Miami.

Come on now. This is like making fun of the spurs for refusing to rebuild so they can gun for the 8th seed to keep pop happy.

Yes it was true in the 2010s, but we’re in the 2020s

Is true now again (2020s beyond) possibly, starting yesterday. No joking intended.

Spurs? We are on a rebuild, have been for years. We suck. For the past 6 seasons. No sugar coating anything. We can admit that!

But enuff with the Knicks ( it's been 2 days now going back and forth.... it is what it is...)

Today is the NBA Finals, Indiana/OKC!

It will only become true if they don't get a good replacement. So until that happens, this would be like saying that the Knicks making space to sign Brunson & Hartenstein was a classic "lol knicks" move...and you're just being silly by refusing to acknowledge how good this FO has been.

:-?

Very possible that aint happening.

Oh most definitely. But it's the NBA, we've seen crazier things...especially if Dolan is allowed to throw trucks full of money at the Wolves / Heat until ownership makes their FOs relent.

I'm not sure you understand how probibilities work

We may have a 0.0000001% or lower chance of it happening, but it can't be negative. Even if it was completely impossible the probability would be no lower than 0.

100% one of those three.

Also throw Kidd on that list. Possible

I don’t see how the Knicks have the assets to trade for Jason Kidd.

A top 10 protected Wizard first that likely is going to be 2 2nds.

You cannot trade players for a coach so that is probably what they are sending it out. Keep in mind the Detroit protected pick became a first so you never know.

Can the Knicks trade Thibs for Kidd? Nico Harris likes defense right?

Lotta smoke around us poaching Kidd.

If that's what it is, it feels like a lateral move at best.
BAF Clippers: Great Team. No Future.
PG: SGA | Coleworld
SG: Big Ragu | Podz
SF: Kuminga | Thybulle
PF: KAT | K. Williams
C: BroLo | D. Sharpe

Deep Bench - Merrill | Craig | Reath | Saric | Lowry

I'll give him a chance if that is the move, but let's just say I'm skeptical that Kidd can do as well as Thibs.

It only cost the Bucks 2 second rounders to trade for Kidd from the Nets.

My initial reaction would be disappointment but I also can't say I've disliked how Dallas has looked when healthy.

The Mavs front office actually likes Kidd though. Kidd is a seasoned coach now too that has two WC Finals appearances and a Finals appearance. He didn’t have that resume in Milwaukee so the price is not going to be the same.

As a nets fan. And a huge Jkidd fan I will be really pissed if he joins the Knicks as coach.

Yes, 110%.

Great coaches are always a plus, but it’s true superstars, surrounded by a great cast that are by far the greatest reason for actually winning championships.
