Durant and Thomson should be a fun duo on the wings. Not sure KD has had that kind of wing player before, since probably Iggy

I hope you are joking, green font because he is one of the worst top 3 picks in the last decade alongside Wiesman, Bagley. His contract looks horrible with his lack of improvement.

Jalen Green isn't even better than Bradley Beal. Gotta be trolling.

Yea suns get to see a Jalen green-Beal-Booker led team with no future picks coming back to them, none of the young prospects from the rockets, and brooks also lol

Wow. Good for Houston. Jalen Green just isn't that guy. Dillon Brooks is addition by subtraction because of his attitude. Houston still has plenty of prospects on the roster, so giving up 10 is nothing. A steal for Houston, imo.

I’m intrigued by the financials for Houston. What is KD looking for?

Don't understand this deal unless they have a move in place to move Green.

No PG, Green, Booker, Beal, Dunn, Brooks on the wing

And not getting one of our future picks back also crazy

They’re need another 2 years or so before they’re contenders. They need Amen or Sengun to step up as number 1 to lead a team to a championship. This team needed a Devin Booker.

Yeah they’ll be in the playoff mix, but that’s it. They’re not championship contenders

The suns made Booker untouchable. Only way they may pry him is giving up their future picks which the rockets don’t want to do

Durant should help his development at least. Minutes wise may hurt a bit though. Wouldn't surprise me if he turns into a 6th man. The move gives Houston a ton of flexibility though. Can stagger minutes a lot to run a Durant-Smith 4/5 tandem I'd think.

It feels like Phoenix just traded their whole wad for kd a couple years ago. I always felt they got fleeced in that deal.

I think this helps reverse the pain of that, but I would have rathered just never trade for kd to begin with.

It’s only steep if they don’t win a title. A championship with KD in the next couple years means it was worth it.

Rockets win the trade -- they needed a "get a bucket" scorer to match their defensive abilities, and they got him. People are sleeping on the Rockets because they didn't get to the 2nd round, but they are a team with a lot of strong areas.

Jalen Green is a negative contract, so they dumped that, dillion brooks (meh), and the #10 pick/2nds for KD. I guess Phoenix is kind of pick starved, but I really hate for them that they are taking on Jalen Green. I would have refused to take back any bad contracts like that unless they pot was sweetened more.

This alone is likely putting a smile on Suns fans' faces this morning. That Green contract runs for 3 more years too.

Bottomline the #10 pick was likely the best asset being offered in any of the proposed deals.

It's certainly a fair deal when it comes to overall value for a 37 year old seeking a 2/$120M extension.

HOU got better and hopefully PHO has other moves planned to balance out their roster. It wouldn't surprise me if Booker eventually asks to be moved.

They're ready to compete now. Not sure what timeline you think they're on. People said the same thing when they brought FVV and Brooks in. You can't be stockpiling rookies forever.

They improved trading Green for KD and have either Jabari Smith, Tauri Eason,Cam Whitmore, Reed Sheppard slotting in for Brooks. Rockets didn’t give much for getting a 2-3 year shot at a championship
