Lol Who said they were a bad team?

Silly comparison. Nets are sending a help defender at Wemby every time he touches the ball in the post. Cam is firing up 3’s from deep and starting to make them while also benefitting from a VERY generous whistle tonight (13 FT attempts and counting).

Generous? He’s been getting knocked around all day and missed the 3rd quarter start for stitches.

The Nets don't need to win this game anyway...or any game this season. 2026 is the most important draft in maybe Nets history. If they miss out in the top 3, they will be finished for the next 7 years minimum

Dylan Harper is gonna force Mitch into starting him sooner rather than later.
Even with Fox if that's what's needed.

My goodness, my Cade and Banchero calls are looking shaky AF thus far. Come on guys, pick it up. Expectations are a mofo, apparently.

Dylan subbed in for Castle today as the first guy off the bench.

I think eventually Dylan is the 1 and Castle more of the combo guard at 2.

Until then, it will likely be Fox, Vassell, Castle starting at 1 2 3. We'll see. As tonight showed, each guard made key contributions. I wouldn't be trading anyone on a rookie contract.

Trade Castle for Tari Eason (and a frp?) - both teams get better

They’d probably take another guard.

Spurs have no reason to trade Stephon Castle unless either a team is willing to wildly overpay for him or he's the center piece of a trade for a genuine top 15 player in this league, and even then, I'd have major reservations about doing it.

Fanduel sports network is just misery. Run by rookies, good grief.

NBA gonna take turns running trains on the Celtics this year. Hope they're ready for the get back after years of contention.

The Celts biggest loss other than Tatum was Horford. Now their bigs aren’t really part of the offense, and other than 15-20 minutes from Queta before he gasses out, they can’t guard anyone.

Duren’s just “athlete-ing” to big numbers in this one, and Ausar has no fear of driving, either.

Hoping we soft-tank the year and land a top draft pick before going hard again next year… happy with the Championship so this is a meh season for us lol

Eason is 4 years older looking for a big contract extension. We'll see when Sochan gets back what our better balanced impact will be.

Surprising people thought they wouldn't be bad this year....They basically traded or didn't re-sign 4 of the rotation players and got Simons in return...And obviously lost Tatum. It's a team filled with excellent role players who are playing above their weight.
